  1. Peter D James insure mine on a classic policy with an agreed value limited to 3000 miles - Costs around £250 a year inc breakdown cover. Ian.
  2. Paypal OK Matt? - Send me your details and I will get the money across to you. Ian.
  3. Can I take the Rear View Mirror please Matt, how much posted? Ian.
  4. Car passed it's MOT today so legal until April 1st 2014 - Only 2 advisories, hand brake lever travel and a CV gaitor needs replacing. Will give it a good clean over the weekend ready for Coleford on Easter Monday, weather report so far is dry but cold (Can live with that!!) Ian.
  5. Ian, I changed the ISV about 18 months ago (E Bay one) so doubt if it is that but might be worth cleaning it. I did mention to the garage the Blue Temp Sender when the Rad was changed but from memory I don't think it was changed, probably best place to start? Ian.
  6. You are right Mark, the first aid kits fit in the rear seat "hump" - If you are not bothered about originality, I bought one of these and they fit perfectly: http://www.conrad-uk.com/ce/en/product/853868/Malteser-Classic-First-Aid-Kit/SHOP_AREA_92330 Ian.
  7. Can't help you then sorry, if they were Recaro's then there is a Porsche alternative that fits perfectly and is also cheaper than the now obsolete VW part. Ian.
  8. Are they standard seats or Recaro's? Ian.
  9. I would have kept them if they were 16", the ride was too harsh for me with the 17's but I am getting on a bit now (Cue sarcastic comments from the "locals"). Ian.
  10. If you do need tyres then check this link, I believe he still has them available: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?79890-VR6-Tyres Ian.
  11. Tom, the ECU Relay should be in the fusebox. Ian.
  12. It was bl##dy snowing and blowing a gale so I gave up - Be patient and wait 'till it is out of the body shop!! Ian.
  13. Little update from last weekend, fitted the 50mm Splitter I collected from lamwagon (Adam) which was perfect as described - Also fitted a new reinforcing bar and new/cleaned up fittings all round, car looks much better now visually. The battery has not been holding it's charge recently so fitted a new Bosch one with a 4 year guarantee and put some acid absorbing matting underneath it just in case the worst ever happens, the engine now turns over with renewed vigor. Lastly I spent some time (between snow showers) cleaning up all the door jams and surrounding area's that always seem to get caked in dirt, prior to it's visit to the body shop next week for fresh paint. Ian.
  14. Nothing to do with me, but a heads up to anybody looking for standard 205-50-15 tyres as Andrew Chapple @ Volkswizard has 6 complete sets of Conti Premium Contacts available at very attractive prices. Check http://www.volkswizard.co.uk/carsforsale/n817byb.htm then scroll down to the bottom of his thread for all the info. Ian.
  15. I live in Linden, my next door neighbour but one has a Silver 16V too!! I am having some paint work done next week on mine so depending on the results could perhaps recommend somebody? Ian.
