The R32 engine is more thirsty than the VR6. That's not to say that it can't achieve decent mpg though. I get 300 miles to a tank regularly in mine and that's doing around 12 miles a day to work and back. On a run to the South West recently I managed to get 360 to a tank not too shabby. I do drive like a vicar though on most occasions but when you do give it some stick then the pick up from low down is fantastic. Got to say that the VR6 sounds so much better than the R32! I do miss that when you reach 4000 rpm and the noise. Alan

I've read the whole thread and a very entertaining hour it was. It's gone global lol. I bet he'll be in hiding soon in fear of reprisals. He deserves them IMHO.

Just watched this review and the good old Corrado makes its presence on there quite a few times. They also got the correct engine sound too. Alan

That s why I gave up my subscription. The cost is madness. If you can get it for half price then its just about worth it. I look at it as paying for my insurance for my car and my partners.

Its gone massive on all other owners forums. I think you need to register on the scooby forum if you wish to go as numbers are now limited. Alan -
Nice looking car. I remember you joining the forum and asking for any local specialists in the Liverpool area. Good luck with the sale! Alan

Yep he blew the competition away in the time trial today. Looked very impressive. Alan

Plenty of crashes this year! Some of the roads look awesome for driving too. I think Wiggins has a good chance to win this year as team sky look very strong.

I would go to Tatton Park just to see this car and to meet you. What a build and dedication used. Alan

2.9 VR6 compared to the newer 3.2 VR6 - how do they compare in power?

Why dont you swap the engines around and see how the Corrado feels with that 3.2 lump in it lol? -

You hit the nail on the head. The 12 v needs to get to 4000 revs to really get going. I found it a lazy engine up to that point then all he'll brakes loose. The 24v however picks up immediately from lower down the rev range due to that lovely low down torque and due to that it does feel a little flat through the whole rev range. The 12 v however sounds so much better. Cheers Alan -
Does anyone else have a young girlfriend?

That's exactly how I understood Butterfly's response. It was a statement of fact rather than influencing anyone's action. I only mentioned the tracker as it could "weaken" the argument of not receiving the items. Butterfly was indeed correct about proof of delivery with no signature is the ultimate test. The delivery driver is the last part of the chain and the wheels could of been damaged at any point. If he's put them on his vehicle already damaged then its going to look bad on him when he makes that knock on the door. But he should of given Rams the opportunity to refuse delivery rather than just dumping them on the drive and that is down to his own integrity. Hope you get it sorted quickly. Alan

I hope that there isn't a tracker device fitted on the delivery vehicle. That will end this straight away...........

Most of the headline acts I would love to see especially Black Sabbath with Toni Iommi been diagnosed with lymph node cancer. But The Prodigy headlining Friday night I dont think so they are a high energy band and not rock. Alan

LOL that made me laugh.
