Hi thanks for interest as mentioned anything on the engine and to do with running I'm using for transplant. once this is done (a few weeks) and working fine there will be more engine parts available. Thanks, Andy

Cheers for the tips and encouragement. its a job that just gets bigger the more you dig! rad panel just isn't there is it! was pretty gutted that it also rotted away the lower part of the slam panel. was hoping to sell parts to help fund all this project. Don't like breaking one of these cars but as you can see underneath it wasn't great and a lot of it is going towards saving mine which was at the breakers door twice. Anyone for exhaust, suspension ideas or any other tips for when engines out, not done this before. Cheers.

Found a gear gaiter and surround yet, i've got one in a box somewhere. if needed still can dig it out and post a pic. Andy.

started light bodywork jobs whilst weather was fine this weekend. stuck down spoiler, manually raised after stumbling across the dial and wondering what it did. unbolted ok and and got cleaning up. next up inspired by other threads the minging mouldy silence foam. not fully finished yet but soon will be once i have my hands on the right cleaning products.

Give the cv boot a good feel all round, looks like it could have split and thrown its h/v grease about the place esp as its just over and around it. Usually get a splattering on the inside of your wheel too. Depending on how bad or dry its got, should be ok to drive just not a great distance if its all escaped or it heats up and vibrates without its lube etc.

I presume this also has threatened the bikers too and their silencer swapping. my dad and his two wheeled mates have all already written to their MEP's earlier in the year. like its being said already, really can't see uk going with it for now and politically no-one wants to lose more voters than they already are doing.

Donor car practically has a full documented service history has had everything replaced in last 2k i need for mine and more. During the strip down for parts it soon became clear that living by the sea for so long hasn't helped parts of the bodywork. fortunately the rest is coming along nice and steady ---------- Post added at 11:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 PM ---------- When i get round to putting mine back together, i'm thinking about new suspension and poly bushes whilst i'm at it and have the chance too. those clips are evil. seems matrix are like some sort of initiation ceremony to corrado ownership! Done matrix twice within as many months. Turns out my valver had missed an early recall that solved them bursting under pressure. I only learnt there was a recall/fix afterwards.

i Have a black L041 early bonnet already off the car in very good condition bar one almost 5p sized blister just on/under front lip if you don't fine a complete rust free sample. located i Bradford. its about 5cm in from o/s h/lamp. can only just see it

Just some pics for now of my old 16v. currently off the road and has been for 2 years. However, will be back by the end of autumn after an ambitious semi strip and build... well that's the plan. Disgruntled at this i accidentally went straight out and bought another with a silly plan of using it as a donor to get mine back on the road! Has anyone ever seen 3 spoke alloys on a rado before?
