  1. Welcome, always good to see another car saved. Look forward to seeing the photos, get yourself signed up to the CCGB if you haven't already done it, only £10
  2. Never cured, just an addiction that never really lets go..welcome back
  3. I am looking for a nice condition Classic Green Storm front Grille.
  4. Looks sensational, welcome back..everyone comes back in the end!
  5. Welcome. Great buy. Perfect roads for a low mileage (or any) VR up there, I am jealous on both counts.. Regards road tax, I just bought 6 months which I believe was £123.75, so 12 months must currently be around £235ish
  6. I recently bought a replacement Corrado leather Gearknob from the local VW Dealer, it was just over £40.
  7. Welcome fella, to a very addictive club! I started with a 16v which I loved to bits. Get some photos up in due course
  8. Welcome, a very nice looking car. I love the way you have de-blinged it. OEM look is best, wheels look good though I happen to think the Speedlines can't be beaten on the Corrado.
  9. Bump...will take £75 for the lot as need the space. I will include the tyres for this price too, if you wish? Any takers. The wheels are immaculate, like new
  10. an extremely noticeable bright orange J plate on the A30 heading into Hayle, Cornwall yesterday around 1.30pm...I didn't bother trying to wave as I was in the BMW!..
  11. Yeah, I will definitely have it from you. My Paypal is borked at the moment so can you pm me how else you would like me to pay you? Cheers
  12. Anyone have a spare, or breaking a car with this item intact, good condition with the clips unbroken?

    Which car mats?

there is no heel pad on the OEM dealer/Veedubmachine mats. They don't need them as the quality is excellent. I have never had a set wear out, only buying a new set when I buy a new Corrado!..

    Which car mats?

I got my last set from the Dealers only a couple of months ago. Veedubmachine also do OEM spec mats with the Corrado script. I have had a couple of sets from them in the past in different cars. Think they both come in around the £60 mark,.. Actually thinking about it, I have had identical looking mats, but sometimes get sent 'Corrado' script offset to the outside, sometimes script is central. Anybody know what is the OEM Dealer spec, or were they both? I thought it was the offset one?
  15. Yeah, I was mostly driving like that recently deceased Georgian loon!..gonna have to watch that..
  16. Your car is epic fella, pretty much the ideal combo of OEM+ looks and performance. It should also qualify for free road tax and no congestion charge with your new MPG?! I would get onto Boris ASAP?!
  17. Had a BMC CDA fitted this morning by SE Autoworks (Guildford). I have so far owned 6 Corrado and this is the first one I have changed the stock Air Filter. It now sounds epic under acceleration but cruising no discernable change. I am very impressed. The only downside is I have seen my MPG lower dramatically on the A3 drive home!..I expect to be visiting the local Shell garage a lot more frequently in future! Also very impressed with the guys at SE Autoworks. Friendly, and seem very knowledgable. Always a good sign seeing a variety of diferent era performance VWs at a garage. Think I may have found my new regular garage of choice, helps that they are easy walking distance to Guildford Town Centre/Train Station. Looking forward to the National Day now and hoping nothing mechanical springs up in the meantime!..
  18. always Alpine Bluetooth Stereo for me. Tidy install, works well with generally clear calls. Also they really suit the Corrado, with the selectable green illumination
  19. Washed/scrubbed boot carpet, cleaned headlining, replaced Glovebox & Vanity Mirror Bulbs,
  20. I am also considering one of these, very interested in hearing people's opinions
  21. Need these wheels gone as I don't have the space. Ideally wanted to keep them for Winter Tyres, but I just don't have the space at the moment. Offers guys? Looking for around £100, but what are they worth to you? Great bargain as like new (cost £380!) I also have all the bolts and lockable key.
  22. An Ending, Brian Eno This is the End, The Doors The Road to Hell, Chris Rea
  23. Sorry to hear that, hope you get it sorted with the settlement. Like has been said just keep on at them and send them proof through adverts that show a comparable spec/condition car, that's how I got my Insurers to move to an acceptable level last time I had a prang
