  1. Ken, the best way to sell is to me!!.. Seriously, shouldn't think you would have any shortage of takers for your Storm with its provenance. Best place to sell I would say would be on this forum obviously. I have also had good experiences using Pistonheads Regarding asking price, anywhere between £1750 and £6000 depending on bodywork originality and any rust present, mechanical condition and maintenance history. So, a few more details of its history and photos would be necessary to be more precise
  2. This will in all probability blow over. If you do encounter the chap again be preemptive and apologise. Despite what he looks like, he may just have been having a bad day. Most people are quite reasonable most of the time. Though, I would espouse the virtues of a Car Cover in general. They help protect the car from weather and bird poo, they also deter random acts of vandalism as well as hiding your P&J from the criminal element who would try to have it away. I bought a reasonable £60 cover from Halfords which is 99% waterproof and also has locking straps to go under car, think I got a Large size. I think it's a good compromise but it isn't soft lined-if I was doing it again I would spend that bit more and get a proper tailored one with a soft lining and padlocks.
  3. It is a 95 M, in a dealer in Buckinghamshire. It even has the original Sony stereo with CD changer and the steering wheel controls stalk! I nearly bought it, it like I said there was a fair bit of rust on both front arches and on edge of bonnet. A few other dings on the bodywork, passenger electric window wouldnt work and handbrake fixing had snapped. But the more I think about it the more I wish I had gone for it. The sunroof and spoiler worked, the heater was like a furnace and the thing drove nicely apart from a notch ones into second gear. It hasn't got much paperwork and the Dealer (though friendly enough) isn't exactly where I would usually buy from but it was on original shock height, looked straight and has only had the two owners, last one being a young lady.
  4. Bump..£30 collected or £40 delivered, within reasonable distance!?..
  5. Welcome Jon. Blackberry is indeed a stunning colour on the Raddo, unfortunately never been a good one around when I was buying! I seem to have owned every other VR6 colour!..I was last looking at a nice original 2 owner Blackberry on Autotrader. It's still for sale at £2995, I even went to drive it. Seems like an honest car with stamped book and drove well, 4 matching newish tyres, but the killer for me was a few hundred quids worth of rust to sort..hence I have just bought another Classic Green VR!..
  6. Think everyone comes back in the end!
  7. Welcome, sounds like a fantastic project. I wish I had owned one from new. Looking forward to seeing updates/progress report. Definitely get some photos up asap
  8. Good to hear you've decided to keep it, looks fantastic. Reckon you've definitely made the right choice
  9. Some cracking work there already fella, will be following the updates with muchos interest
  10. £50 for a badge?!..I am no longer afraid to state that I just paid £17 for an Aerial Gasket & £43 for a Gearknob at the Stealers!..
  11. I have 4 of these tyres which were on a set of Storm BBS alloys that I bought to use as Winter wheels. Winter Tyres now on these wheels, so the Cooper Tyres are in my shed! I was going to keep them till my summer tyres needed replacing but I now really need the storage space so they need to go ideally. All tyres are exactly same model, look in perfect condition, all have a good few mm above the wear blocks Cooper Zeon XTC 205/50/R15 (86V) Collection or delivery around SM5 area of Surrey, near Banstead/Sutton. Would be an ideal set of track day or daily tyres for those of you lucky enough to be running two Raddos!.. £40 for the 4 07973362476, text or call. If I do not pick up leave a message and I will get back to you
  12. Very clean looking obviously cherished car, looks really good on those wheels
  13. Looks lovely, haven't seen many Ice Grey recently, very much like this-but then I don't think there is any colour I don't like on them! Do I see in the background an E36 Convertible? Same garage as myself if its yours. Must say the Corrado usually wins for me unless its clear blue skies!..
  14. Welcome mate, lovely looking car. Don't see many of that shade. Appears nice and original in the photo, except you have the wiper upgrade. Have you joined the CCGB?
  15. They look great, think I am going to have to have a serious look at these. I really want to achieve the OEM look. Keep posted anyone who goes for them, photos when(if) they arrive?!..
  16. Certainly will do, though the chap at Awesome phoned me after I placed my online order. Apparently they come form the US (price starts to make more sense) and they will take at least 3 weeks to arrive. I will expect them when I see them tbh!.
  17. I too would be very interested in the original period style Dealer accessories. As has been said it is a shame the chap has gone quiet
  18. I've just ordered those blue tinted wide angle jobies from Awesome..£62 with postage!...they had better be nice!..
  19. I've just booked tickets for the Thursday, 4 Tickets retailing at £100 for free through the Goodwood FOS website. You need to register on the site and then book the tickets (up to 4 I think) for the Thursday. Then at checkout enter a Promo code of 'MMSTELE13'. I have received an Email from Goodwood stating the tickets will be sent out to me. It is a promo in connection with the Daily Telegraph, get in quick as a limited amount of tickets available free!..

    hi

Welcome, wish me and my Raddo lived in West Cornwall!!..Get some photos up of both! Im down to Gwithian camping at end of June, want to do the RTTS next year. Haven't seen any Raddos in last few years visiting Cornwall, even though I understand there are a few knocking around the county?..
  22. I've just bought a set of OEM Corrado scripted mats from a VW Dealer. Cost £55 with 10% Forum Discount.
  23. That's too expensive a hit for me in one go at the moment mate! I would need a month or 3 to build up to such a purchase just now! Really hoping for 16" as well. Hopefully some others may agree before too long. Best of luck with yours. If you ever decide to reduce the price I may be interested?
