  1. Yeah, that would be great thanks, I am not looking for flash or fancy!..Your chap sounds just the ticket. Look forward to seeing the 'after' photos too
  2. Photos????!!!!! Also, interested in who you used for the work. I am looking at buying another Raddo that has similar bodywork issues! Cheers
  3. Welcome to the Raddo Club mate, how did you manage to resist for over 6 years?! They are very, very addictive! There is no going back!
  4. Sorry to hear that mate, hopefully there is no lasting damage. Best of luck getting it sorted. I hope next time the scummers nick a lesser car and bin it into a huge tree very hard!!
  5. Although tatty, ou got it for a right old bargain. Loving the restoration work you're doing, another Raddo saved is lovely to see. Carry on the good work fella. Can't believe what some previous owners do to their Raddos, those kind of chumps should be in Fords or Astras!!
  6. You lucky chap is all I can say! Wish I had ever met a girl that would buy me a Raddo!!!..does your wife have a sister, if so is she single?!.. ---------- Post added at 5:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:30 PM ---------- Ps..done
  7. Better get the world market in Corrados cornered before August then! Just off to book an appointment with my Banks Small Business Manager..sure he/she will concur with my reasoning!!
  8. From what you have said it could be around the £2.5k mark, but really need more info. If all the usual areas of concern on a car this age have been addressed then it would be worth around £3.5 to me (with no rust), if it hasn't been fettled and just minimum servicing then as little as £2k..need much more info and detailed photos to give a more scientific valuation?!..
  9. That looks lovely, one owner cars not coming up too often these days! Ride height is my eternal dilemma with the Raddo, love the squat aggressive stance and the 'sunday blast' of lowered, but also think the standard car rides superbly the rest of the week..oh, to be able to afford to run 2 of them!!
  10. Quality piece of filming, good find..just need it subtitled, surely someone's got an Ap for it?!
  11. I will definitely be there providing I have a Raddo in my garage then!
  12. Not too many white Raddos out there from what I've seen. Good effort with the fettling, those wheels look excellent. Love the other cars you have caught in your photos..original Mini, VW Camper and the Lupo..are they all yours?
  13. That is my perfect Corrado, absoloutely epic looking car, very subtle beautiful mods. The best wheels for me too in terms of size and appearance. Nice when people know when to stop and keep originality. Good work
  14. I love the Coupe 1 Series, great choice
  15. the Storm Grey with Beige looks sensational, must be quite a unique car. Was it that colour spec from factory or was the Beige added later? Your Golf cabby looks lovely too, I would want to keep both (even if it meant living on a diet of porridge and beans?!)

  17. This is outstanding, especially as I get 30% off that price!..
  18. Great colour and pretty low mileage. Welcome
  19. Another vote for Bosch Silver

    Car covers

I have a Halfords cover for mine. It cost about £60. It is fully waterproof, has elasticated edges and securing straps. Generally quite impressed with it though I dont use it all the time. Its pretty much just for spells when I am away from the car for a long period or when some particularly offensive weather is on the way. I have worried about the effect that the cover could have on the paintwork as it is not soft lined. However, in the last year it doesnt appear to have affected the car in any negative way whilst preserving that 'just washed' look. Good value I think.
