  1. An original part that would have probably been a Dealer fit optional extra back in the day? Holds 4 cassettes. It just slots into the centre cubby hole underneath the heater controls. Perfect used condition with no visible marks or scuffs. All four tape holders eject and close properly. Part number 535 864 120 £20 collected/plus postage.
  2. Yeah, not good to dwell on it too long. Needless to say the amount I spend yearly maintenance on Corrado would see me in a high spec brand new BMW/Audi etc on PCP/Finance!..how dull would that be though!?..

Welcome. Always great to see another car get rescued. Get some photos up ASAP of pre- restoration
  4. An immaculate period HiFi set up. This is coming out of my new VR this next week, as I have my favourite Head Unit to go in. There is the original purchase receipt with the Stereo, also have the Instruction Booklet. The removable fronts Case is also still present. The unit works exactly as it should and every CD tray loads and plays perfectly. The Changer holds 12 Discs and can be attached to any surface. The Changer unit is attached to the underside of the Parcel Shelf currently. Though it would also go on the back of Rear Seats and above wheel arch in boot space. If you are looking for a late 90s original look for your car this would set it off nicely. I have been undecided for a couple of weeks whether to keep it in situe or not. Ultimately I have decided to install my usual single CD stereo. Head Unit is JVC KSFX450R (with RDS and 40Wx4) CD Changer is JVC CH-X350 (12 Disc) Its hard to price these period HiFi, but in as new condition it has got to be worth £45 combined for the Head Unit and the Changer. It will be available to collect,or to post with suitable costs, from the 31st of July. It will come with the existing cage and the head unit removable case, instructions also included. Cheers Ben 07973362476

  6. Hesitate to say welcome back after only 2 days! Even I have never done that! Usually takes a couple of months at least to do the 'about turn'...good effort and congrats from a man on his 7th!
  7. Thanks for replying Emu. Though, to me that looks like the Space Saver spec carpet? To my understanding there was an optional extra from new of a Full Sized Spare Wheel which had a more pronounced mound.
  8. Lovely looking car. BBS 17" MultiSpokes of any description seem to really make the Corrado. I noticed this at the National Day. Welcome Gracie. I echo the Classic Insurance comments. Some may not insure you as under 25, but I never had a problem when I used to go through Lancaster for insurance on a Classic Saab 900 Turbo when 23 (group 17 of 20). As long as you have access to another car. My current classic policy has me insured on my Storm for 280 a year, whereas my daily VR normal fully comp policy costs me 690!
  9. Mine arrived with the Post this morning. Excellent quality as usual. Thanks James. The black actually looks pretty OEM in the Beige Storm interior. Though, if somebody does sample some beige plastic I would probably have a beige one too, though I'm not too fussed either way.
  10. I have no idea regarding your question, sorry! I would just get down to Mothercare, park up and pester the Sales staff to let you try a few.. ..I do want to congratulate you though for not instantly thinking as soon as you have a kid that you automatically need to buy the biggest people carrier you can find! Good effort for persisting with the C
  11. I am looking for the above. Must be in very good condition with no visible wear/deterioration. Just need the centre humped section. Thanks
  12. I never even thought to ask! The ashtray in the Classic Green/Beige Storm is black, so it won't look out of place being black plastic. Though, if a beige surround with black cup could be manufactured I would definitely have one of those?
  13. Excellent day all round. The weather, convoy, venue, people and cars were all superb. It was a very early start to get there but lots had come from much further afield than me! I have to sheepishly admit its the first club event I've ever been to (despite having owned Corrados on and off since 2003!). I am determined to become a more active member of the Club and get to some more events. I particularly liked the idea I heard mentioned of a possible road trip to the LeMans race, Classic or the regular event
  14. These really are very good. I have purchased 3 so far! Hugely useful and address one of the shortcomings of cars of this era. On that subject I hope my third one for the new car has been posted?! Had to hold my coffee in my lap on way down to Castle Coombe today, came close to coffee meets cream carpets disaster on several occasions!
  15. Quick update. Most bits sold to CCGB members at the National Day. Still available are the following -Sunroof Motor -Instrument Binnacle Same prices as before plus postage, but obviously prefer collection from SM5, Surrey
  16. Washed & polished it, ready for next doors cat to sleep all over it tonight! Also replaced dud boot light and fitted new cover on rear wiper spindle. More than enough effort in this heat!
  17. Rob, as before, it should be fine. I am chucking it in the car for tomorrow because it may be easier, if somebody needs one!? But, if I still have it tomorrow evening I can post to you no probs. I will PM you over the weekend and try and send you a photo or MMS photo if you want? Cheers
  18. Yep, I am definitely in, see you in the morning Nick Cheers, Ben
  19. Okay Fay, see you tomorrow at some point. Looking forward to seeing your car too. ---------- Post added at 5:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:56 PM ---------- I also have just found a nice clean condition top engine cover. Standard colour with VR6 etc written in bold red letters £10
  20. Er, stand on your head then?!..not sure why they're coming out like that, they look fine when I view them!?..maybe I am upside down too?!
