  1. If you want top dollar for it put it on the CCGB stand at the NEC in November

    Clutch problems

Mines doing similar when first started from cold, someone said pedal return spring 22 - 23 - 24 in the diagram I presume? http://www.partsbase.org/vw/corrado-cor-eu-1994-126-brake-and-clutch-pedals-cluster/
  3. So going forward we should all install the centre bolt first to prevent similar happening again?
  4. I just meant if Hofmiester hadn't time to remove the cams or wanted to keep them for maybe future use (not barging in or treading on toes)

  6. I'd go £650 for the Schrick and supply an abv manifold and cams if that fits in with Hofmiesters offer?

  8. As above, pistons can seize in the calipers as can the guide pins in the carriers, which problem does yours have?
  9. I've seen them destroyed by fitters tracking a car and leaving the gaitors twisted, always worth checking they've removed any twist after having the geometry done. Unipart stuff is usually quite good
  10. Where did you buy them from? (I think I can guess)
  11. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxygen_sensor "The probe[edit] The sensor element is a ceramic cylinder plated inside and out with porous platinum electrodes; the whole assembly is protected by a metal gauze. It operates by measuring the difference in oxygen between the exhaust gas and the external air, and generates a voltage or changes its resistance depending on the difference between the two. The sensors only work effectively when heated to approximately 316 °C (600 °F), so most newer lambda probes have heating elements encased in the ceramic that bring the ceramic tip up to temperature quickly. Older probes, without heating elements, would eventually be heated by the exhaust, but there is a time lag between when the engine is started and when the components in the exhaust system come to a thermal equilibrium. The length of time required for the exhaust gases to bring the probe to temperature depends on the temperature of the ambient air and the geometry of the exhaust system. Without a heater, the process may take several minutes. There are pollution problems that are attributed to this slow start-up process, including a similar problem with the working temperature of a catalytic converter. The probe typically has four wires attached to it: two for the lambda output, and two for the heater power, although some automakers use the metal case as ground for the sensor element signal, resulting in three wires. Earlier non-electrically-heated sensors had one or two wires."
  12. I might have one of those off a G60? I've got to get in the garage loft over the weekend so I'll have a look whilst I'm there
  13. Does the charger have an oil feed? Is too much oil going to the charger hence the oil buzzer?
  14. Both sensors read low pressure One is low pressure below 2K(ish) RPM and is the lower reading of the 2 fitted as marked on the flats of the hexagon The other is low pressure above 2K(ish) RPM
  15. Mine did the same recently, I don't think there is a clip, its a ball and socket so new arm needed due to wear of the nylon socket? https://vwheritage.mobi/GB/productDetails.cfm?iItemID=172308267
  16. Ditto, they don't make much money at the current time anyway, a bitsa would have very little value once done. 1.8T or a 24V maybe?
  17. This has to be a forum record 0 - 162 pages in 6 months. The Rover looks nice, I hope it works out well for you. You'll be back :)
  18. Is this for sale then? I think you just beat me to this when it was for sale on the forum?
  19. Id say cat then, maybe standard or sports
  20. Can you see straight through it?
  21. They're not the only ones with spares for sale, there's a breaking section too
  22. You can drain a battery to the point a home charger will not boost it up again. Fit and fling diagnostics is expensive, you need to do some tests with a multimeter to diagnose the problem. Make sure the battery connections are good, follow them to there opposite ends at the starter motor and the gearbox bellhousing making sure all are clean tight and connected
  23. No one minds newbies building up posts for a wanted ad, there's a few here that break Corrados (lilfuzzer, purpletom to name a couple) but wont see wanted ads hidden in threads and you can't PM with a low post count either. :)
  24. If you'd have put a wanted Hydro pedal box in the heading in the wanted section someone would have seen it. You'll need a few more posts before you can do an advert though, so reply to this an a few more topics and you'll be ready to do your wanted ad (5 or 6 posts needed I think?)
  25. ABS light has differing connections depending on part number, so you'll need to quote the number on the rear of yours. There's been several group buys for the headlamp switches, maybe there's still some available in the GB section? http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?85919-2014-Headlight-Switch-Group-Buy-Now-Arrived!&p=1076333#post1076333
