Any advisories on your last MOT for worn suspension or steering components?

I have a grey one with micro blistering (needs flatting back) for £10

I have VR6 (G60 280mm 4 stud conversion) calipers and carriers, nipples are free moving as are the pistons, they need resealing IMO as they're 20 years old. The carriers have the slide pins and are free moving also. Looking for £40 on the condition that the calipers are suitable as exchange units for reconditioning (if you decide to use them its at your own risk!)

Worth making a sticky to prevent future duplicates? Its a rarity for Cs to be on TV too

I've fitted 312s to my mk4 daily, they're banjo fitting and I have callipers and carriers only.

I have 288s off a MK4

Have you checked the loom for breaks where it goes from the door pillar to inside the door as it tends to break there due to flexing opening and closing the door, the insulation can remain intact even though the wire inside is broken so give it a gentle pull, any stretch and the wire is broken

I may have one, what are the colours of the wires remaining and what length would you need? I cant look until wednesday

Take a pic and post it up. Most of the chips on the board will be surface mounted with tiny legs soldered to the board, the remapped chip will be mounted into a push fit socket and the legs will be thicker. Similar to bottom left in this pic

Dave16v engine bay pics should be in there IMO?
-
One crank sensor, there are knock sensors screwed to the block also (these are microphones that detect pinking / detonation and adjust the timing to prevent engine damage)

I was looking at an invoice for a Bentley the other day, a few options and the VAT came to £26K!

I went this year on the Saturday (the first time for 10 years) and it was dead, a pale shadow of its former self, 20 years ago there were more cars parked outside the TRL at 8Am than inside at mid day this year. Sunday was said to be better.

Idle stabilisation I believe
