Find out what's missing when the car is a non start, spark at the plugs, fuel being injected or both. Disconnect one of the spark plug leads and plug a spare spark plug into it, check for a spark when cranking the engine over whilst holding the plug against the engine block using insulated pliers and wearing gloves. Remove the plug from the engine and check to see if its wet with fuel. What was missing?

Does the car need a full respray or just the panels quoted?
-
The trumpets and the clamps are separates pieces on the audi, it may be a workable solution though?
-
Do you have a pic? I've just broken an Audi 80 cab, it has a cable set up with trumpet like pieces, as the 80 cab was still sold until 2001 you may be able to get them from audi?

I'm sure this car has been up for sale at least twice previously in the last 12 months or so for £7K? I saw it when it was first listed this time and thought £7K straight away............ http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=80885 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1995-N-Reg-VW-Corrado-All-4-Wheel-Drive-20VT-Turbo-Syncro-Golf-Rallye-/190834970567?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2c6ea68fc7&clk_rvr_id=523714911276

You should be measuring the centre of the centre cap of the wheel to the top of the arch.

This is why the best rubber with the deepest tread should go on the rear.

The bearing dust cap is a push fit, use a large flat blade screwdriver and a light tap with a hammer to push it off. Use the screwdriver blade against the rib embossed around the cap, with the screwdriver at 12 o'clock tap the cap, rotate the disk 90 degrees, tap the cap again, rotate 90 degrees etc as you go so as not to damage the cap. The bearing races are a press fit into the disk, if you're fitting new disks then its probably the best time to renew the bearings too - the races can be drifted out once all the grease is removed to discover 3 hollows to allow for removal.
-
If you have an aftermarket immobiliser fitted you could just tape the original key inside the ignition lock cowling and have another key cut. Plenty of engine transplants have the factory immobiliser defeated anyway.
-
There should be a tiny amount of movement in the rear bearings as they're taper bearing, you should be able to move the washer behind the large nut with a gentle shove with a screwdriver, going too tight will just kill the bearings. New tyres should be fitted to the rear of a front wheel drive car.
