If you remove the carpet you can shake talcum powder around floor, bulkhead and sills, this will show where the rivers of water run into the car (which can be some distance for the accumulated puddle).

The wiring to the stereo will be ready to go, swap red and yellow wires, red goes to yellow and yellow goes to red. both are live wires so you can’t do any harm, one is live from the ignition switch which draws a fair amount of current in use, the other is permanent live for station memory and draws a tiny current with the keys out and car locked

I meant performance wise finished (no performance cams etc)
-
Thank you.
-
If the engine is "finished" it would be good to take it to an expert to make sure its all working in harmony, it could have a bad MAF / Lambdas or cam timing out etc You'll then know its as good as can be going forward.

Not mapped yet for the schrick?
-
They can crack, but should have an easier time with a new clutch assembly. im not a fan of changing “this / that / the other whilst there” as repro parts are often inferior to the original.
-
As clutches age the pressure plates make them heavier and heavier, if you're replacing the clutch with standard issue and there's no cracks in the original fork mine would be re used. Better a used Germanically engineered unit than a new Chineesium sourced item?

So did I, mine was late obd2, incomparable with a Corrado in every way. schrick is small volume 2.8 below 4K switching to large volume 2.9 above 4K - best of both worlds. Someone who just wants low revving drivability could just fit a 2.8 manifold with a map and save grand over a schrick
-
If you’re not going to Rev it above 4 k you could have saved a grand and fitted a 2.8 mani for similar effect.

You only have to look at the Eurovision Song Contest to know we’re the most hated country in Europe and have been for decades, Brexit was another slap in the face for them. we export music world wide, one of the biggest in the world, but E S C is a popularity contest and it shows how hated we are.

Beggars belief, buy a waterpump, get a new seal in the kit, temp sender, ditto, buy a brake hose and it comes without new sealing washers...... If you were a garage trying to earn a living with a car stuck on the ramp waiting for 2p worth of washers.
