  2. They should disconnect the battery before welding or use a gismo across the battery terminals to prevent spiking.

  4. Henny drilled the rear spoiler and fitted individual LEDs in its edge, he made a very neat job of it.

  6. VR6 and G60 both use the same Calipers and carriers on the front, both use a 280mm disk (VR6 have 5 stud and G60 4 studs). VR6 can be fitted with 288mm disks from late MK3 Golf GTis / VR6s and Calipers and carriers from either the same GTi / VR6 or Golf MK4 are then used as they are the same (MK4 disks have a different offset and can’t be used). So my untested theory suggests 288mm Calipers and carriers fill fit the 16v using a MK3 GTi / VR6 disk redrilled to 4 x 100 (you’ll need conversion hoses for the front too). No one has ever tried it to my knowledge, I don’t know why?
  7. The rears will bolt straight on to the existing carriers, but you will need conversion brake hoses because MK4s have the banjo bolt fitting. Many have done this conversion.
  8. If anyone local to Crewe owns a valver and wants to investigate this I have 288 calipers and both MK3 and MK4 offset disks (that would ultimately need to be redrilled 4 x 100). No obligation to buy, just to test out the theory.
  9. Usually MK4 based cars have one more (or one less - cant remember which) grooves in the aux / pas / alty pulleys?
  10. Check or replace it he engine / gearbox earth strap, a broken, damaged or high resistant strap will blow ecus

People use it for convenience of posting pics - you may see them in your news feed if the FB algorithms decide its for you, the next time you log in you cant find the same content unless you Liked or Posted or Shared it and someone else has done the same since. If you want to know what your cousin you last saw 32 years ago had for a mid morning snack its the place to be, that and collecting "friends" you've never met or likely to ever meet

  20. Its a bit "bush fix". Presses are cheap if you have room? My floor standing 20T was £90 delivered to my door.
  21. I think he means one of these? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F123225457691 A 10 mm spanner is cheaper, neater and more useful for other things? There’s probably one in your boot but more useful relocated to the underbonnet area?
  22. I pressed a new bearing in my NSF, no issues, 95Kish miles, but it was an OE bearing. With nothing moving inside the actual housing I cant see how it can wear? Undersized bearings would be my guess
