What sort of track car would you like then Wendy, fast, fun, or cheap to run?
-
Those pics are brilliant!

That looks sweet mate 8) When you off to Stealth then?

Both cars I would consider and have been recently.... Driven the 350Z and I think they are a cracking car for circa £11-12k apart from the rubbish boot space I cannot fault it one little bit. Im really drawn to the Z4 coupe as well mind. You say you should have the M sport package, however pretty much every review I have read says the std 3.0 car with std suspension is the best all round car and mostly preferred to the Z4M version. If you fancy a Porsche though :norty: the prices of 993's have dropped considerably recently. You are looking at £20k now for a really nice low mileage example. Yes ok running costs and initial purchase price is high. However its still going to be worth £20k plus in 5 years time. Maybe more if the economy picks up a little. If you just fancy a change and are not sure what you really want at the moment, then I would defo go and take a Mazda RX8 for a spin. You can pick up a really nice one for £6k and despite the engine noise being a little 'milk float' they are an awesome drivers car. Perfect for the track, RWD, high revving, sublime steering feel, cheap servicing/running costs. Downside is the mpg, but hey its £6k! Enjoy your search, it sounds like a good one

I have the same problem as Gav. I also sold Gav the pump  I have tried three pumps all known to be working and they havent made any difference. I have pretty much narrowed the problem down to the wiring in the A-Pillars I think. Just need to investigate which side is not giving the open command to the pump. I also need to get a new door handle as the central locking wire in that hast bust. I used this check list from Yandards viewtopic.php?f=19&t=77994 Worth taking the door cards off and checking all the wiring with a multi meter. If it isnt the wiring in my A-Pillars then I give up as I have checked and swapped out everything else! Hope it helps Matt

Yeah I know. Its not big and its not clever. I was all ready with my hands out awaiting the cuffs! Think they were really more interested in catching the Evo that I was following however. Fortunately for them/unfortunately for me they were just a 'little' too fast for the Volvo
-
Schitt!! With you at the wheel? You facing a ban?! Yeah me driving. Fortunately due to my 'good driving' at said speed they let me off at 101mph. Magistrates visit £500 fine 6 points. All gone now though fortunately and lesson learned
-
Well I can say the Corrado VR as std will hit 145mph. Unfortunately i saw the police video to prove it :(
-
I could be interested but would need a price and would courier mine down.
-
I still say get the VR. If insurance allows . Just do your homework and only buy if it has a decent history and the main problem areas have already been looked at. That way any bills should be reasonably small.

Looks AWESOME! Thank goodness you changed those lights tho   Matt

Same deal And lets be honest unless you are buying in ebay with paypal there is bugger all buyer protection offered by them anyway. So I would personaly do all my transactions like this no matter who it is.....

Love it looks good mate. Ditto about the aerial tho. Plus those 'blue' repeaters look a little out of place :confused4: Any further plans? Matt

Nooo I never thought you would do it mate! :( Thankyou for the engine offer but I really like the 12V and think 230bhp is easily enough for the little old C  Just admittedly dont like spending all the money to get it somewhere close LOL Good luck with whatever you get/do in the future mate. Hope things feel better for you after you have sold everything. Its sacrilege to say it on a car forum but they are only cars at the end of the day. plenty of other (less expensive) things out there in life to make you happy. Matt -
