  1. I actually like the way the Corrado looks on the rare occasions I stick the roof bars on! Looks proper Euro retro cool LOL Probably look better in an Alpine environment with skis on top than in the Peak with my bike on top though
  2. Cheers bud. I have just bought those exact ones off the same guy ending his auction early on ebay  Could have saved myself £2 if I had seen that Edition Ad earlier  Matt
  3. Well that's the thing car has 'only' done 84k and feels pretty tight. Certainly not very noisy. But then I thought I may as well get my local guy to do the chains whilst he is fitting a clutch. Then when I take car to Stealth after that to get the 263 cams and VSR fitted get new tappets then. Do I need new valve stem as well? They arent the same as tappets are they??? :confused4: LOL Cheers guys Matt
  4. Hey thanks m8 that is great! Just trying to decide wether to do everything now whilst I change the clutch or wait a bit longer... :confused4: If you have the Wiki guide you can email me that would be superb Matt :)
  5. After part no's for upper and lower chain and tensioner? Anyone help? Thanks Matt
  6. Frickin love your dedication mate! Awesome :D
  7. I always go for platinum sparkies for the VR. They are certainly stock for the later cars.
  8. I wish I had less expensive tastes (or more money) Only car that would currently tempt me out the C would be thisindividual_experience_z4_coupe.jpg[/attachment:1u7bceew] Or possibly a 968 club sport or 350Z altho I think the latter great car that it is will hit chav status before not too long :gag:
  9. Where have al the 200sx's gone :confused4: You dont see any on the roads anymore. Great car. Hope they havent all gone to the great drift graveyard in the sky :salute:
  10. Why not just spend £1500 tidying up the handling then. Replace bushes, coilovers etc etc I have driven all the cars on you list and despite all of them being good cars in their own niches the Corrado is still the more characterful car all round. Then save a bit more money and come back to us when you have 12k to spend then there are quite a few nice motors that are considerably better than the Corrado :norty:
  11. Why do you want to get rid of the C anyway?
  12. I had the same choice 3 months ago. I kept the Corrado
  13. I think if you go for alloy you should defo get them lacquered, my unlacquered centre need to be polished weekly at the moment and I hardlydo any miles. If my outers were not lacquered it would be a nightmare. Matt
  14. Love the colour combo. Glad you are getting on top of things. Keep up the good work. Matt
  15. I have all three now :norty: Just depends how quickly I pull my finger out and get it all fitted  (probably a long long time from now lol)
  16. You reckon!  8) That is everything Im going to fit and i was gonna be happy with 220bhp  Is it really worth fitting the big bore throttle????? Matt
  17. OOOooo ooo me me me  Suppliers Forum? LOL
  18. Here you go mate :D viewtopic.php?t=22029&highlight=visible+schrick+vsr Cheers, thanks for that. Seems a bit expensive for the added performance gains, however its rare so I imagine the VW geeks would get a semi for it  I'd like so get a new 6-2-1 manifold, I used to have one on my Mk2 Golf (in 4-2-1 form obviously). LOL Thing is and addressing Kevs negative comments  It is the only performance mod for your VR6 which is maintenance free and reliable. Plus it also has the kudos of being a 'stock' VW item for the purists amongst us  So basically combined with some cams and a remap it is the best option for people who dont like to get their hands dirty :D
  19. A waste of money :nono: You wash your mouth out LOL
  20. Here you go mate :D viewtopic.php?t=22029&highlight=visible+schrick+vsr

    steaming

Thats where mine came out from as well. But it is worth checkin the little things first. Give it a hard run and you should be able (just) to see if either of the waterpumps are wet

    Door leak

You can get some sticky sealant stuff. Like the silicone ones you get for doing around the bath but this one just stays sticky. Cant remember what its called though :?

    steaming

All the steaming and coolant issues I have ever had with my C have involved the upper and then lower water pumps
  24. DS2500 are awesome! I use EBC red stuff on the Rado as it is reasonably light and they work well at low temps as well
  25. LOL Well when they are buried that deep they take some finding!!! :silly:
