  1. Yes I am breaking the whole MK4 4motion. What are you after?
  2. 24V Renshaw

    Haldex Diff's

I have one if anyone needs it. Jay
  3. At the moment when I take them off my mate is having them for his MK3 Driver. but I will let you know if he can't for some reason. Jay
  4. Paul I am interested. They are the stainless ones right? I need VR6 stuff now as my Konis won't work right because of the wider track on the front :( Cheers Jay
  5. Cheers for the info. So I can widen my search to MK3 gearboxes then. Good, more likely to have nice low mileage on them. Jay
  6. Quick question. Is the MK3 Golf VR6 gearbox the same as the Corrado one? Cheers Jay
  7. The G60 will be living on in another Corrado, so no need to worry. :) I am not sure exactly when I will start the conversion, but when I do I will try and post as much info as possible. Engine bay is going to get a fair bit of treatment first, once the G60 is out. Jay
  8. I know what you mean Jim, but one of my main reasons for doing it is to allow the complete factory function of my TT dash. I need the modern engine to get everything out of it. Jay
  9. I think I might need the luck!! Not actually that bad, just damaged in the wrong place. It has had the wheel stuffed into the drivers side floor pan which has bent up into the footwell. Main thing is the engine is untouched and all the electrics work. Jay
  10. Well what a weekend!!! I just picked up a complete written off MK4 Golf V6 4motion, so I now have the winter to install the whole engine and complete MK4 wiring loom into my motor. I want to use the entire MK4 loom so I keep proper Vag-com etc.. and I can plug everything into the TT dash as per a factory car. We had it running once we had played with Vag-com a bit and convinced it there we no faults, airbags etc.. It sounds awesome, can't wait to get it in the C! BRING IT ON!! :)  Jay
  11. Oops. At least your eyes are OK mate. Looks like you have been dusting for prints! :) Jay
  12. Ben they are 205/40/17's not 195. Unless you have bought new tyres since you bought them from me.
  13. Looking good Andy. Did you take them to Metal Blast or somewhere else? I will be doing the same at some point soon. Jay
  14. Cheers mate. You car is looking damn good in the mag this month! In the photo on the last page of the feature it looks phat!! Don't worry the engine (not the current one) will be on show at Edition 38. I have a few ideas! :) Jay
  15. Buck G60, I appreciate your views, but there is a bit more to my car than it may appear. Being new to Corrado ownership it may be difficult to see what has been done to the car. For a start I have not listed the details of the car, examples of "innovative" mods on my car are a fully working Audi TT dashboard, Porsche full Leather interior, MX5 wing mirrors, flushed out exhaust, towing eye, badges, Mk2 golf front splitter, full Porsche respray etc.. etc.. Innovative doesn't always mean in your face. People know my car and what has been done to it and the fact that I have done all the work myself. So before you start calling it the "weakest" car look a bit further and read about it first. If you have read about it and still think the same then fair enough thats your opinion. Thanks to all of you who do appreciate it! :) It makes it worthwhile! Jay
  16. I just modified a standard G60 back box, bit of chopping, two bits of tubing, bit of welding, job done. I am going to do another one soon as the baffles are going in this one. Jay
  17. Yep, car is filthy again from all the mileage. :( Its a bit heavier now too after all the food I have consumed! Jay
  18. Cheers Gman, There is still a bit of work to get the TT dash looking right with the cream leather interior, but I will post photos once its done, see what everyone thinks. Jay
  19. Coxy. Looks like good progress is being made mate. The Rallye rear arches are much smaller "lower" than the Corrado ones, so the car doesn't have to sit half as low as the C would to look sensible. Jay
  20. Yeah I know, not the most practical colour!! Got a mechanics seat cover as one of my christmas pressies, thats the only way I can use the car as a daily driver, for things like going to the breakers yard!! When I am in dirty clothes I can just chuck the cover over and not worry about it! Sorted. GF has been banned from wearing new jeans in the car though! :) Jay
