Thought I would put a daylight piccie up of my interior so far. There is still quite a bit to do but isn't there always!! Jay -

A bloke in Birmingham who I bought the front seats from. However I am going to be doing it myself on a lot of it, as I now have access to a leather sewing machine and have a couple of spare hides to play with. Jay -

I would be interested in a GB for mats. I don't really want anything written on them, just a proper set oflong lasting tailored mats. Jay -
I do sometimes worry when I drive through certain places! :)

Gutted for you Dinkus. I could not imagine how you must have felt. But at least your still here which is the main thing! Jay

Whats scary is I have actually had all of my favourite wheels on my Corrado over the last couple of years..... BBS RC's Porker Splits BBS RS 16" .....AUDI TT 18's :)

I can honestly say mine will never be "finished". I reach stages where I am happy with aspects of the car, but there is so much I want and will eventually do. I am going with the european approach of keeping the same car for a long time and evolving it. My car will be very different this year for the show season, and probably for the next year and so on. But its my hobby and I can think of worse ones! :) Jay

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you got a bargain to me! :) Jay

Warning Corrado Jacks can damage your health

To be honest mate that sort of jack is only for changing a wheel in an emergency. Always use a trolley jack when doing work on the car and preferably axle stands. Thank God you were not under the car!! Jay -

Only for the winter Bally :) -
Yeah Steve I was in Southampton on Monday dropping the GF off at a work christmas do. Car is filthy again at the mo, so it was probably hard to recognise it! :) Jay

Had my MOT the other week and was shocked but also fairly chuffed to see that I had done 22,000 trouble free miles in the year since the previous MOT. Not bad for a 13 year old car, let alone one that is not exactly as it left the factory! Jay

Fidanza do one for the Rado now I think. Jay

The leather looks slightly more creamy in the flesh, not quite so white, but as you say I think it contrasts well with the paint colour. I have sold the porker rims as they would not last the winter driving it 40 miles every day. The RC's are just winter wheels............patience! :) -

Cheers Bally. Some big changes to come over the next couple of months. :) Jay -
Here are some piccies of one I helped remove. Not much to show other than the chargecooler set-up and where things were mounted. Hope it might be of some use... Jay

They will technically fit, but the 9's on the rear will require some arch work if you want to run it at a sensible ride height and not have it catching the arches. The PCD is correct for the VR6, 5x100 is what you need and the offsets are OK too. The tyres you would need for those wheels would be 205/40/17 on the front and 215/40/17 on the rear, or even 215/35/17 if you want better clearance. Cheers Jay
-
Thats exactly why I am keeping mine. I know that if I sold it, all I would do is end up wanting another and have to start all over again. No thanks, I will stick with the devil I know! ;o) Jay

VR6 - The leather is a combo of a few things. I got some porker front seats that had been freshly re-trimmed. I then got the bloke who trimmed them to do the rest of the interior, so it all matches perfectly. Its all in Jaguar leather and is properly double stiched etc.. which makes all the difference. 8) Ben - Oh dear. Don't worry you will get there. Jay

That picture has just reminded me, I must do a cream handbrake sleeve! :)

Had a productive day today doing some detail touches to the interior. Although I am currently in the throws of converting it all to cream leather I figured it was a good time to do some details I have been meaning to do for ages. The main one, was converting the lights in the window switches to red to match the rest of the TT dash. Also wiring up the lock/unlock switch in the TT centre tunnel, which also lights up red. Dead easy to do, just bought some 3mm Red LED's from Maplins for 23p and swapped them for the green ones in the switches. So now at night everything lights up properly, as per in a TT. Its all in the detail! :) 8) Jay

Does anyone actually have any pictures of these lights on a C in the daylight? Also perhaps not square on, but more of a 3/4 angle. Cheers Jay
