  1. Cheers Storm2. Anyone got a cream interior to sell? Anything considered
  2. Does anyone know the offical colour name or code of the cream/tan leather you get in Corrados? Asim I am looking in your direction for this one. Cheers Jay
  3. Agree Dinkus. The toyo might feel good, until you try a decent tyre! Jay
  4. Finally someone agrees with me that Toyo Poxeys are sh1t in the wet. Pretty good in the dry but absolutely ar5e in the wet. Scary in fact. Eagle F1's are "THE" tyre to get for the winter months. Jay
  5. The air-con should work with either MAX or MIN. The difference is the re-circ flap opens or closes in the air-box. MAX is when the flap is closed (i.e drawing cold air from in the car). MIN is drawing air from outside. Jay
  6. Storm Classic I reckon you could get much nicer wheels second hand. Cheers by the way. Jay
  7. I think they look cheap and tacky. A I reckon they would look even worse when actually seen in real life. Just my 2p. Jay
  8. Of course I am regretting it, although the money will be handy. Oh and don't worry I have a couple of ideas for new rims! :) Jay
  9. Didn't think it would take you long to put pics of the wheels up!! Hope you enjoy them as much as I did! :) Jay
  10. "He loved his new BBS grasseees" :) Sorry!
  11. Storm 2 - That Red one is Elliots, he works at Audi in Poole. Its a 16v. Jay
  12. Nothing has been seen of it since. It has a lot of unique bits on it, some of which I made myself for my old MK1, so if anything ever comes up....
  13. Well done lads. Glad to hear its up and running. Now get on with it and get it finished. :) Jay
  14. My mate had exactly the same thing happened on about the 15th of September. His show standard MK1 golf GTi was stolen from out the back of his flat near Croydon. It had no engine in it (he had it out rebuilding it) and was left out the back of the garages in a private car park. They must have had a truck or trailer of some sort to be able to take it away. Jay
  15. The third wheel is just a BBS RC. There are loads of C's with that wheel on.
  16. Right I did a quick one of the CH's for you and must admit, I am liking them!! :)
  17. A long shot I know, but does anyone know of any Barn/outbuilding/garage space available somewhere around Bournemouth, Southampton, Poole, Wareham, Ringwood, Ferndown etc.. I want some space to start my winter project and would like a barn, big double garage or similar, big enough for two cars at least. I would obviously pay for the right place so if anyone knows of someone with some room somewhere, or has some themselves and fancies a Corrado nut visiting regularly! let me know! :) Any ideas, however silly will be appreciated! Cheers Jay
  18. I would not bother with a supercar driving day, they limit you so much that all you feel is shortchanged. You have much much more fun in an Elise or a Caterham, or your C, where they let you actually go for it!! I did a driving day which was a Ferrari 355, TVR Griffith 500, WRX and an Elise and the best one by miles was the Elise as they actually got you to drive quick. The Ferrari was literally just a drive round. The best buzz I ever got though was a track day in my own car, you know it and you go as fast as you can! Jay
  19. Mines up to about 170K, but the clocks in the dash say 45K :) I am the same as henny adding close to 20K a year! Proper Corrado driving eh Henny! :) Jay
  20. Looking good mate. 8) What rollcage is that? Cheers Jay
  21. Got this mail from a mate of mine about his MK3 VR6. It misfires when warm and under power, not during normal motorway running but loads of hesitation in traffic. It is better but not cured since I changed the plugs from NGK to Bosch. I think that I have an oil stem seal gone and that plug fouling is the problem. Blue smoke can be seen after deceleration. Sometimes it will just cough and then even when hot after a run down the M3 it will couch and splutter all the way home the couple of miles from the junction, again only when put my foot down. I I accelerate hard then overfuelling causes some loud banging from the exhaust. any ideas would be much appreciated. Any ideas VR people? Cheers Jay
  22. I have just had a telling off from Ian "Coxyland" and I think I will keep it. So anyone got a complete cream leather interior they want to sell including all the plastic bits? :) or swap for a black Porsche leather interior? :) Jay
  23. I have to admit I am starting to get some ideas for things to do to it over the winter (excluding the v6 4motion idea) and am starting to think I will do the Euro thing and keep hold of it and develop it further, without going too far I hope :) Infact I am pretty sure now, unless someone offers me serious money I will keep going and take it to another level if I can. It will still be a daily driver though! :D Jay
  24. How many miles....erm... well the gearbox has done 150K, but I think that is the only bit of the car that has. The engine has been totally re-built, twice and produces 200BHP, the suspension is all new stuff, poly bushes, coilovers, braided hoses, Brembos, Mk4 rear calipers etc.. the car has obviously been totally re-sprayed, the interior is all new, the wheels are new so I can't honestly say the mileage is X miles as its kind of irrelevant I guess. The TT clocks say 40,000 :) I am still totally undecided and I am getting answers both ways!?!?! :-P  Jay
