  1. Its a 3.6L flat six. 260BHP and 240lb/ft 0-60 about 5.5 Secs and 0-100 13 ish secs. But its the handling which is unreal. SOOOOOO much grip and the steering is so precise its scary. MPG seems OK so far, bit early to tell at the mo. Jay
  2. Yep there is plenty I can do to it. Keep coming up with ideas the more I look at it. The noise is awesome, it has a sports stainless system on it too, so sounds mint! The colour is Slate grey I think, but I have not actually looked it up yet. Jay
  3. Nope, the ones on Ebay at the mo (assuming thats the ones) are 3 piece "look" not actual 3 piece. My ones are actual 3 piece split rims :) Still PHAT either way :) Can't wait to get them on, but I think the car needs a drop first :( Jay
  4. gsbellow - glad to have been of service mate ;) and thanks for the offer, may be in touch at a later stage :) Furkz - What have you just found on ebay? Jay
  5. Since driving this I must admit I am not missing the Rado as much! :) The rear wiper will go, the indicators and side repeaters will be clear, the door handles will be 993 ones, the car will be dropped and I will be fitting these :) :) Jay
  6. Well here it is, the replacement for my recently sold Corrado. Its a Porsche 911, 964 Carrera 4. The car I have wanted to own since I was 16. I have plans for it, obviously :) First here are some pics before I do anything to it. The car is unbelieveable to drive and everything I hoped it would be. Will (if its OK on a Corrado Forum) keep you up to date with what I do to it. Jay
  7. Lots of head scratching at the mo :) jay
  8. Nice one cheers Stan. Hopefully it will all be cool though. Jay
  9. You will probably find there is part of the switch which is broken or moved and connecting things up that it shouldn't. jay
  10. They will fit Will :) If not I will get the missus to come down and get them. Stan - Will chat over PM. Bit of a job and I would have to get my press from my folks (Buckinghamshire), but I can do it no probs. jay
  11. Well for me doing the engine would mean doing the aircon too. However there is a lot more cost involved in putting a 24v in, including all the aircon etc... Jay
  12. No that would be using all MK4 bits on a standard VR6 Rado. Basically installing the entire modern climate control system from scratch. It would still work on a 24v if you installed one at a later date. Jay
  13. Any water leaks, both in the footwell area and in the boot? Check all the connections to the back of the stalks and the back of the clocks. Have you had anything apart recently? jay
  14. Does it do it when the switch is off? If not its likely to be a short in the switch which is putting the perm 12v supply in the headlight switch, down the switched 12v supply from the ignition keeping everything live as mentioned before. Jay
  15. erm. Lots of work either way. Basically if you use the MK4 pipework etc.. you have to do a lot of chopping and reshaping to get it to fit, or get flexi pipes made up. Then you need to mount the compressor (different bracket on the block) fit the condensor, drier etc.. then fit the climate control unit and heater matrix in the car. all do-able but I would say in the region of £2000 for me to do the whole job. Jay
  16. More than likely some mud or oil on the downpipe/cat that is burning off. Just keep an eye on it and check there is nothing like a plastic bag stuck to your exhaust. Jay
  17. Looking very tidy mate. Lose the cream sunroof edge though. So where have you put the sunroof switch? Or are you never going to open it again? Jay
  18. LOL. Yeah but it won't make me any money :) Jay
  19. http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/046970.html
  20. If anyone needs this doing I am happy to do the job for £100 if you can get hold of the bits. I seem to remember the bits are about £30 from VW? or you could get a whole mech from a Passat for about £10 at a breakers. Jay
  21. I know :) I'm good with my hands though ;) Jay
