  1. Local papers. That is where you will get the real bargains, someone who has no idea what they have :) Jay
  2. I haven't (touches wood) but I know a couple on here have. Its just a reason you would know your C is fecked as the title says.... Jay
  3. ......you release the seatbelt and you fall out of your seat onto the headlining. Jay
  4. The same signal is sent to the fan control module aswell, in both types. Without the pressure in the system making it send the right signal, the compressor will not engage. I think this is a little more advanced than raising the idle, seems to actually affect the map to increase efficiency under load. It will be fine until you have everything linked up and it realises something is wrong. It flashes when there is a fault code on the pressure side. Jay
  5. I would check your wheel bolts are tight first. :) Jay
  6. Are your wheel nuts tight? Have you lost some balancing weights off the wheels? Has the vibration damper on the driveshaft come loose? Jay
  7. Full feature must be coming soon and worthy of the cover IMO. Jay
  8. Thats only three wires to get that to light up like that :) Seriously though, good progress mate, looks like you have started connecting aircon pipes to the compressor too. Just for your info, there are two types of pressure switch on the aircon systems. One is a normal high/low on/off pressure switch. The other creates a square wave which is sent to the ECU to change the engine map so you don't notice the load and its all a lot more efficient. Not sure which type you have but the 4motion one on mine is the later. Jay
  9. lol. March isn't it :) Was last year, oh and the year before ;) Jay
  10. Fight and fight and fight everything, don't accept any value they give to the car etc.. dispute it. I have had to do this twice. Once it went all the way to court, but in the end you will win and get what you deserve. Its a hassle, but don't roll over and let them take your money. Both times it took exactly a year to resolve, but both times I kept the cars and sold all the bits off them making a nice profit :) Jay
  11. Climate control rules. Can't live without now. Jay
  12. cheers dude, means a lot[/quote:7da39] Mate its a seriously sweet car. Now get a decent dash in it :) ;) Jay
  13. Yeah go for a nicer looking dash. Wouldn't bother with the dull old TT one. Anything will fit if you want it to. Jay
  14. Ebay, from about £80 I think. You obviously need a wireless network though. Jay
  15. Get a wireless IP camera. You can get them and they dump images to an IP address (via a wireless network) so even if the scum spot it and wreck it, it will have captured their face LOL. Jay
  16. Its not the "switches" that make it look dated its the arrangement of everything and the plastic surrounds etc.. The only way you will make a Corrado dash look "modern" is by replacing it or by completely updating the types of materials used and rearranging everything. Jay
  17. Andy is a top top bloke and he and Brian have done my wheels for the last 11 years. If you want a genuine service from a Dub enthusiast you will not find better. They are damn cheap too. Their prices are on the website. http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk Jay
  18. Actually looking at the pics there is a fair amount of info on the boards there. However there are a few question marks in there... Jay
  19. Not a problem if you have the wiring diagram.... Jay
  20. Yeah used to love Marks MK2, proper class install. Nice bloke aswell, got to chat to him a bit when I lived down in Bournemouth. Jay
  21. Finally got a copy of PVW after coming back from Worthersee. Nice feature mate congrats :) jay
