Cheers. I think that is the best thing about modified VW's in general. People try to maintain the original principles of the cars, but are innovative and imaginative. Unlike a lot of other marques where they just buy bolt on standard fit aftermarket stuff, which often is totally against the original principles of the car. I would love the Karmann guys to have a look and see what they thought of my efforts, shame I couldn't make the trip over the other week. Jay

Ben16v - if it had happened before ED38 then I would have been seriously pi55ed off. RadoAds - The good thing is my mate (who painted the car 4 years ago with me) works at the best bodyshop in the area and it will be done there, so the results will be nothing but perfect. He is going to make sure of it! :) Jay

To be honest I am not that bothered. Yeah its annoying, but its such superficial damage I am just happy it was not more severe.... Like I say a brand new front end for £300 is not bad. :) I guess its just the risk I run using it everyday. Jay

Bloody typical isn't it!! You drive a car virtually every day for 4 years, just get it finished to a stage you are happy then.......look what happened!!! :mad: Went for an interview for a job in Manchester and bumped into the back of a taxi which decided it was going to just stop all of a sudden. Luckily it was no more than walking pace, but its actually damaged almost every panel that I have just fitted!! New Bonnet, New bumper, New front panel, new headlight and new grille. Still every cloud has a silver lining and I am just getting it all done on the insurance and getting a fresh re-spray on the front end and brand new VW bonnet, front panel, bumper and reiger grille :) So no stone chips for the feature when its done. Hey ho! :) Still I have a couple of ideas I would like to do if I can while its being done, so it will come back stronger very soon! Jay

Well G60 Renshaw was a bit out of date as I don't think there is anything left from the G60 anymore..... :) So 24v Renshaw it is. Jay

I had one done last week on the insurance after a stone hit it. Its a green top tint and was £50 for the excess. Nice :) See my link below for piccies of the top tint. Jay

We don't really have it over here although you can get it if you hunt it out. They were at ED38 apparently and were speaking to Biggerbigben about doing a feature on his. Jay

RS VR6 - Yes it is getting another feature. Elliot spoke to me at ED38 and said they want to do a stuido photo shoot this time and hopefully it will be a cover car too! woohooo!! :) :) Jay

Cheers guys. I will be getting the car about to shows as much as I can. I had a long chat with the Dutch lads that were at ED38 (Big Ron, Cheil etc..) and they were really nice guys and well into the car. Was nice to get compliments from people who have such amazing cars. The fact that PVW picked it as their car of the show made my day though! :) Jay
