Sounds like the switch. Get a genuine VW one- they usually keep them on the shelf ;)

Blue K-plate behind me this afternoon near the M25 J9/10?- can't remember. Was in the Octavia.

Good idea to use a cable tie to hold the switch in instead of re-fitting that horrible screw... just in case it fails in the future. Did you get a new swtich from VW? The GSF ones etc aren't supposed to be very good :(

I had a VT front and rear mount on my 16v, and it was fine...

The 16v mounts are different, apart form the GB mount. Vibratechnics are your best bet.

Hi mate, send a message via www.corradoclub.org - I'm sure they'll sort you out quickly. Failing that drop one of the committee a pm on here (Butterfly, Kip, CrazyDave etc).

Chris, pull out the light/sunroof switch unit. Undo 2 screws holding the motor cover in place. Pull motor cover off- has a lip at the back edge, so be gentle. This will reveal the motor. The allen should be clipped onto it. Not sure on size. Literally takes a couple of minutes to do :)
