We'll try to keep the expanding list in the first post and see how it goes, that way you can join in the parts chat, but also find the list easily enough :)
-
There's our first price- thanks Purple Tom, Yan & dragon green :)
-
Up and running here. Many thanks for doing this!

After some recent discussion on parts prices and people being ripped off with secondhand parts that were actually still available and cheaper from VW, Scarlett has kindly offered to check out prices for people. Please post any enquires or prices you have obtained from dealers you have in this thread, prices will be collated into theis first post. Remember to include as much detail as possible (car model, year etc) to get an accurate price. Please be patient, as Scarlett is doing this purely to help people- it's not her day job! If anyone else has bought a part recently, please feel free to post up the price - more the merrier! Part numbers and rough prices can be obtained from http://www.vagcat.com to speed up the process. This thread is purely to obtain prices, not to purchase parts. That's some weight difference... mind you, most of the AP disc is worn away  That's a tidy wheel refurb, there Kev- lookin' factory-fresh! :)
-
Brilliant :) Or, alternatively, we could just run a sticky thread in Suppliers, if you'd be happy to monitor it?
-
Good idea... would be pretty impossible to run as part of the Forum though :( Keep the ideas coming though guys- we're determined to improve the system for the genuine enthusiasts out there :)
-
Sounds like the switch. Get a genuine VW one- they usually keep them on the shelf ;)
-
Blue K-plate behind me this afternoon near the M25 J9/10?- can't remember. Was in the Octavia.
-
Good idea to use a cable tie to hold the switch in instead of re-fitting that horrible screw... just in case it fails in the future. Did you get a new swtich from VW? The GSF ones etc aren't supposed to be very good :(
-
I had a VT front and rear mount on my 16v, and it was fine...
-
The 16v mounts are different, apart form the GB mount. Vibratechnics are your best bet.
-
Excellent news, Paul! :)
-
Seen the original- Let the Right One In? Cracking film- swimming pool scene at the end is brilliant 8) Not seen Let Me In yet- be interesting to see how they compare.
-
Not a Bora fan usually, but that's lovely!
-
Changed the original rear mount (seemed in pretty good nick when I got it out!) for a Vibratechnics one. Test drive a bit later...
-
Yup :)
-
Nice- always liked them :) Always been tempted by a GTV or GTA...

I'm on a roll  Sorry to all those who don't like electronica, but here's another classic- spot the Rocco at 3:20 8) [youtube:l035nfo3]Ndlozg5-lWs&ob=av2n[/youtube:l035nfo3] *EDIT* Damn Sony! :( Here's a link instead

...and a new one! Bit out of touch lately and not heard this before- fantastic! Play it loud :D [youtube:1mwwqa6o]lMv6USMLWvg[/youtube:1mwwqa6o]

Been uploading loads of old stuff onto my ipod today, and listened to this for the first time in ages. What a gem! Really makes me feel blissed out 8) [youtube:2jvewelw]KsE9iXoXB6s[/youtube:2jvewelw]

Liking these- kinda like a good version of La Roux
-
Hi mate, send a message via www.corradoclub.org - I'm sure they'll sort you out quickly. Failing that drop one of the committee a pm on here (Butterfly, Kip, CrazyDave etc).
-
Chris, pull out the light/sunroof switch unit. Undo 2 screws holding the motor cover in place. Pull motor cover off- has a lip at the back edge, so be gentle. This will reveal the motor. The allen should be clipped onto it. Not sure on size. Literally takes a couple of minutes to do :)

That Dave is a clever chappy :)
