Car's looking good Chris :salute: If you're still after a grille badge, I have a brand new chrome one... superglued to a mint debadged grille. As is, the grille is no use to me- fancy a grille swap + slight cash adjustment my way for the badge? Just an idea! ;)

Brilliant news, Wendy  What were you driving for the test?

8) Perfecto!
-
It's a very light dependant colour! Looks totally different in different conditions. Prob my fav colour too 8)

Aqua Blue VR6- K*** EYU? parked up in West London this afternoon- no idea what the name of the road was! Looked pretty much standard + optional BBS multispoke alloys (G60 style).
-
Zak & Borarob- cheers, good advice! Any pics would be appreciated ;) To the OP- mine are painted green and work pretty well, although not great in bright conditions. I'll defo get some LEDs in there, but the green option is cheap and takes a couple of mins with some glass paint (like Supercharged says- model/hobby shops sell it). I just pulled the bulb holders out and painted them in situ- so easy!
-
Reckon it could fetch more than that- have you seen it? It's like it's just come out of the showroom + good G60s are holding their value much better than the others at the mo...

Yours is an amazing car, Drew 8) Again, it all depends on whether there is a buyer out there, which there probably is, but you'd have to be patient. Doubt very much whether you'd get anywhere near £8K now though. £5-6K maybe? Very difficult to put a price on it TBH.

So pleased for you, Charlie! :) Was impressed with the engine bay last week- would love a run out in it sometime once it's run in ;)

My 16v Corrado.. Featured in this months (Jan 2010) PVW!

Bally, nice Goof 8) Always liked the MK3 (I know I'm in the minority!). -
If it's as mint as you say, in black with Recaros, prob up to around £3K at the very most. I think a lot of sellers look at other cars on Autotrader and see the cheap (on the whole) prices and underprice their car accordingly, scared that they won't sell in the current climate. I got my 1.8 16v a couple of months ago for £1.8K and it's in very good nick- been told since several times I could sell it for a fair amount more... Reckon you're pretty spot on with the Recaro factor- they're most definately a bonus, but the car isn't worth £900 more than a non-Recaro'd C. £300 sounds about right.

Changed gearbox oil for Redline MT90 + a dollop of Molyslip. Cleaned/trimmed the coil-block earth strap.
-
Got the GSF Brembos + EBC Redstuff pads on the vRS- very impressed with the setup. The pads are the same compound as the Black Diamond fast road pads, but cheaper. Got them from Venom. The discs are superb- as mentioned above, various parts are painted so they don't rust + they have a wear indicator.

Cheers chaps :) Jim, drop Charlie a PM ;)

A couple of pics from Saturday at Castle Combe, courtesy of Chazrad & DazyCrave 8)

i'll add that to my rumour :norty: :) Venom are pretty cheap- KW V1s are £595, APs are £365! and the Weitecs are £499.

Any pics of the tails yet?
-
Cheers, Fay :) I'm steadily working through a list of things to do, I'm about half way through but I suspect I will never reach the end  Amazing what a difference the lights make- the big slabs of orange look so dated in comparison to the rest of the car imho. Next up: change gearbox oil for MT90 laquer tail lights clay, machine polish, seal, wax, arches, underseal I won't bore you all with the rest of the list!
-
I'm quite liking that look- I couldn't live without my spoiler though- part of Corrado ownership IMHO!
-
They're all made in the same factory, along with AP suspension stuff.
-
Fitted 3 new exhaust rubbers to the backbox. Cleaned behind/around the petrol filler neck- the earth strap was still attached after 19 years! 8)
-
Good work, Fay. Looks like there's no corrosion in there 8) - must do this to mine v. soon!

Grey (L-reg?) C in Charfield at around 4.40pm today, heading up towards Tortworth. Think I saw you a few days ago too- gave you a wave both times...
