Jim, they are indeed 205 45 16s :) I could bring them along to National Day if you want them. -

That sucks, mate :( Keep your chin up. Pretty simple to fix up and get through the MOT. Then you can tackle the advisories later. I'll have a pair of pretty new (8mm tread) 16" Toyo Proxes that were on the VR up for grabs soon. Let me know if you're interested. -

Yep, all the best, mate. Always a little worrying, but as you've done lots recently, it should be OK :) -
Gutted! :( Hate it when things like that happen- you feel like you've just wasted hours for nothing. Will be great when you finally get it done, and at least you've had plenty of practise ;)
-
Jon, have decided to keep them for the time being. Along with my debadged grille w/chrome VR6 badge and chrome Corrado script badge. Just in case ;) Dave- getting it later today. Actually quite excited :) I'll give it a good clean/machine polish/ Dodo Blue Velvet etc and then get some pics up 8) Can't wait to really test out the 4WS- from what JoeBloggs says, it's great fun!
-
Bye bye :( Taken before Stanford and the last one just before she was picked up on Friday night. Changed the tails.
-
Integra or Leon Cupra! 8) S2K too, if you can find a decent one for that money :)
-
Loving the avatar! Merrin's spelling is coming on a treat! Who broke down after Stanford then? :?
-
No idea! boost monkey?
-
Thanks, Jim- much appreciated :salute:
-
Awww, thanks, MrsB :) Was a difficult but necessary decision. Just hope nothing goes wrong with the Lude now!
-
 You're on!
-
Well, just said goodbye to her :( Pretty gutted. Had a last drive a couple of hours ago and she was really flying- windows down, country lanes, V6 roar- doesn't get much better 8) Gone to a very good home. Told Dave all about the Forum, so he'll hopefully join soon :) Picking up the Lude Sunday...
-
It'd drive me bonkers waiting that long! It's gonna be well worth the wait though 8) Good work! ps- can you pm me your address so I can get that bracket off to you ;)
-
Cheers chap :salute:
-
Ha ha! Would love too, but it kinda defeats the point of getting it! :cuckoo:
-
Walesy, the interior is OK, if a little bland... plenty of toys though 8) ps- Dave & Vaughan, which C broke down then? :?
-
:)
-
Exactly, Vaughan- you've hit the nail on the head ;) Only time I broke down in a C was when I ran out of petrol  Thanks for the nice comments, guys- makes me feel a little better about having to lose the C 8)
-
Yeh, just get in there and give it a go. Take your time, and they'll look good :)
-
Yep, I'll be along :) I used Rover Gunmetal Metallic. Looked at a few colours, and this one seemed just right :)
-
Cheers Tom. Yeh, it's a lovely colour. Wanted a black one, but they were all tiptronic  Yep, no. 8 is definately out there somewhere ;) Will be a while though :( Good to meet you the other day! :) Unfortunately, the guy buying my C wants the anthracite Speedies :(

my 20vt corrado ... the saga continues

Really liking it! 8) Great stance and paint looks great- good work! -
Thanks Vaughan, Dave, Jon, 3Corsa, JoeBloggs for the positive and constructive comments! :salute: Vaughan, yeh, I'll pop over next week sometime :)
-
Thanks, guys. They are vastly underrated imho. Looks good with the Motegi kit, too 8) Reason for selling was the constant bills with the C. I've had 3 Civics- all a similar age/performance to the Lude, and didn't get stung with a single unexpected bill ever on any of them! The VR was actually quite reliable, but still surprised us with regular bills- mainly replacement of worn items etc. We are expecting our second child in August. My wife works one day a week, and will soon go down to zero, which means 2 kids, big mortgage, 2 cars etc all on my teacher's wage. Absolutely cannot afford any unexpected bills now, as we barely break even every month as it is. May have to lose the Lude next year and go down to one car. We'll see how it goes. Don't want to grumble too much- I've owned 7 Corrados in the last few years, and we're still lucky enough to have two nice cars. There ya go!
