  1. Glad it's sorted- did you go to Bristol or Glos? Sounds like a bargain! 8)
  2. Would love to, but that would defeat the object a little! Got my VR BMC on there, and have a decat waiting to go on. May get a Fidanza flywheel if I ever have to get the clutch done. Other than that, it will just be a case of keeping it running sweet. Would really love to get some coilovers, turbo etc, but if/when we can afford such luxuries, I'll be getting a Storm ;)
  3. IIRC, I suggested the ARZ ones several times before the purchase was made... The smoke is very light on the FKs- agree with you it will prob match up with the silver better. The ARZs aren't particularly dark, but they are indeed a fair bit darker than the FKs  Reckon the ARZs would really suit Ron 8)
  4. Here you go clicky. You could have just bought the ARZ ones which are already de-blinged + cheaper ;)
  5. The Lude is pretty good thanks 8) Mising the VR a bit though :( Those are FKs. Had them on my green 16v a few years ago. The previous owner did a fantastic job of de-blinging them- pretty sure he did a thread about it- I'll do a search...
  6. Look forward to seeing then 8)
  7. Nice... are they on yet, Dave? We need pics!
  8. Nice- looks more oem+ with the new wheels 8) can't go wrong with a BBS style wheel IMHO.
  9. Hey up! Which lights did you go for? Inpro/FK?
  10. GTO bodykit, I reckon ;-) Vaughan's been on about getting one for ages
  11. Don't EVER follow Charlie. Stanford anyone? That's the last time I'll mention mate, honest ;)
  12. You'll need 4 wheel alignment, ideally, because the drop will have altered everything. Pro-tyre in Gloucester or Bristol can do it. You will notice a bit more tram-lining/bump-steer etc with the 17s though. Is it the Tri-locks? Get some good ones on there asap! The tyre place (Ebley?) in Cam got both of mine off- took them a while, but they did a good job, and the key was completely knackered too.
  13. Mate, that looks stunning! 8) 'bout time too! Yep, will take a few weeks to settle fully with new top mounts etc. Look forward to seeing it in the metal! I'll have to pop over sometime.
  14. No worries, Steve- thanks for the quick payment 8)
  15. A cold air intake or a BMC CDA is the best way forward, although I'm sure a heatshield would do a decent job. The carbon canister is easily relocated or deleted. Have a look on US Ebay for the kits, they're usually really cheap, but always buy a good filter e.g. Green or K&N to go with it.
  16. The Jabba G60 kit comes with a heatshield. Also ITG filters from the US have heatshields. Think several people on here have made their own too...
  17. Looking stunning Andy 8) Loving the grille/G60 badge combo- reckon you should definately detail your headlights too, and do something with the tails...
  18. Always seems to be the way I'm afraid :( Really gutting when you just want to get on and enjoy the car, instead of worrying about it. Once it's through the MOT, it should be fine for a while :) Still want those tyres? I'll get them taken off the RX2s this week ;)
  19. Think it's actually meant to be walnut- and it's hideous! Gonna make way for some nice CF trim :) Dave, the body kit is from the Motegi special edition ;)
  20. Thanks mate 8) Teak trim? Dunno what you mean...
  21. That is, quite simply, bizarre! They seem to have got this all badly wrong. Surely it should be competing with the TT, 350Z, Crossfire etc, not a bunch of hatchbacks! Oh, hang on a minute, it is a hatchback
  22. Looking superb, Chris- I'm totally jealous! Get yourself a BMC CDA!
