  1. Best place to get the spoiler from is VW (if you want it new). Otherwise, just keep an eye out on here, Ebay etc for a second hand one. GPC sell them cheaper than VW, but because of a huge hike in postage, courtesy of Parcelforce, it works out more expensive :( Unless of course you live near GPC...
  2. Lovely car, mate- looking good on the Speedies 8)
  3. They'll be spot on. VR ET is 42 or 43- can't remember which, but it's close enough!
  4. I think that was just before you said 'How come our Corrado tool kit screwdrivers have different ends?'
  5. You can also get them direct from Goodridge.
  6. Agree with the others- that's a rediculous price! You could get the bumper and wings done as well for that. A couple of years ago I paid £300 for a whole front end respray.
  7. This is looking lush! Just the right drop and the RCs are awesome 8) Oh yeh, the engine's not looking to shabby, either! :notworthy:
  8. Think the ecu relay is 109- changed mine and the fuel pump relay a couple of months ago.
  9. Not really. He mentions RWD at the beginning of the sentence as a generalisation, and then everything after the comma is particular to the 200sx to which he is referring. You know this because he says "the car" and not "the cars" or "them" which he would if he was making a sweeping generalisation. Basic grammar. It can be taken two ways, Upto the comma could be rear wheel drive in general and after specific to the 200sx and thats how i interpreted it (and so did my Missus who has a degree in English Language!). Not going to get into another discussion as a difference of opinion towards the Corrado is frowned upon it seems. Horses for courses, some prefer RWD aand some FWD. Ive had both. In general RWD is quicker on or near the limit, FWD everytime poor weather comes into the equation. So you agree with BoostMonkey then? If that's how you interpreted it, I don't see what your argument is :? Do you disagree about RWD being better at getting the power down? Do you disagree that the 200SX can be a little slippy slidey through the bends? :? I'd agree with your closing generalisation, too :thumbleft:
  10. Excellent! Can't wait to see some pics 8) Make sure your little bro doesn't put his sticky little, brake fluid-covered fingers all over it
  11. Result- nice one, Dave 8) Always a relief to get it through- didn't think you'd have a prob though, knowing how well the VRT is looked after ;) Must be running very well to get through the emissions test without the cat :salute:
  12. Blimey! Wish I'd kept my trap shut  I was talking (in the main) about Japanese cars, and to be honest, don't think that is a particularly sweeping generalisation :bad-words:
  13. Maybe my wording wasn't great- I was mainly talking about Japanese rear wheel drive cars - I think we're in agreement ;)
  14. Agree with Michael about the Leon, and also worth considering the Octavia vRS... You get so much more for your money with these, and apart from body panels, they're pretty much identical. I'd say the Audi has the best build quality, with the other 3 pretty much the same in my experience. With the money you save, you could get a good remap, FMIC etc and see some excellent power.
  15. You are best off removing the rear HT lead guide. Just unplug the leads and use an allen key to undo the two bolts. 1 minute job :) Then the ISV will be revealed in all it's glory, as described above. Really easy to remove, however if it's never been off before, it will have the awkward clips on that you have to get off with a screwdriver. Have some jubilees handy to replace them with ;) It's just a question of taking off the hoses, unplugging the electrical connection and sliding out of the rubber collar.
  16. Rear wheel drive is better at getting the power down, but the rear loves to slide out around corners, making the car a bit of a handful, especially so with Japanese rear wheel drive cars- that's why they're always used for drifting. I've driven a couple of 200 SXs, and very nearly bought one- really like them, but they are no way near as nimble as a C in standard form. Have a look on SXOC for all the 'I lost it at the roundabout' type stories ;) Super cars are a whole different ball game as they are set up so well that they get a balance between power delivery and handling.
  17. Not surprised really- they're pretty identical power-wise, and the 200 SX is rear wheel drive so can't deal with the twisties as well as a C. A few months ago I had a friendly tussle with a 300ZX on the way to work (mixture of A/B roads- quite twisty), and I actually caught him up and more than matched him! It was the bends that got him- it looked a real handful  Reckon he'd have got away on a dual carriage way though...
  18. Cheers, Dave :notworthy: :) Must be someone local to you- come on guys!
  19. Good stuff, Dave :) Any idea of price yet? Would also be interested in a VR6 cam cover...
  20. Pretty much use mine as a daily + it's garaged every night. Prob use it 4 days a week on average, 25 miles a day. Tend to use the vRS for long journeys as it's more family friendly.
  21. Looks so 8) matey! Loving the pics- you need to get some vids next time ;)
  22. Bought a stat set from X-bones (Graeme). What a star! He posted it special delivery before the money had cleared 8) Top guy.
  23. Jon :camp: , post some pics up ;) + explain your job. Stop being coy
  24. Notice I posted in your thread though? I'm so kind :)
