  1. Lol! What's so good about that reg anyways? :confused4:
  2. Good work. The for sale section on here is a good call mate, the odds of it being looked after better by an enthusiast are better!
  3. I quite like the corrado 'script' keyring...
  4. Im getting either EBC Greenstuff or Redstuff pads for both front and rear. From http://www.camskill.co.uk Standard rear pads Green: dp2680 £33 Red: dp3680c £38
  5. U can get standard solid Brembo discs from GSF like I received today. £19.50+VAT for each side, I got free delivery on mine coz I got the front's at the same time, u might qualify for it tho with just the rears! 5 stud - 603VG0041 4 stud - 603VG0051 I also, like everyone else, say DON'T get the bearings from GSF  Rear brakes are an easy job to do, for the bearings u'll need some sort of punch to knock the new bearing races into the new discs, and plenty of grease. Also when taking the carrier off u may find the bolts round off, so Irwin Bolt Grips are handy in this kind of situation. Should really buy new bolts for the carriers too! There's a couple of guides I imagine on here somewhere for the rear brakes - trust me, if I can do it, anyone can!
  6. I know what u mean - I normally can't stand gold! :gag: But them wheels look nice with the gold centres IMO, and would look much nicer on a Dragon Green VR, for instance
  7. No way!! I love those wheels, and Id much rather have ur 'rado over the Polo!! Give me ur wheels
  8. Looks awesome! Bet ur freakin' lovin' having it back mate!! But that white bra... :gag:
  9. Haha fair one - I am tempted to go red. Been to Wilko's today and found Hammerite in a dark green colour...tempted by this too... Most likely goin' for the black tho...
  10. Thanks dude - yeh I see where ur comin' from!! Might go for black then methinks...
  11. Yeh but sod that - if ur getting EBC's go to http://camskill.co.uk/ u can get both sets (rear and front) or the reds for £100 delivered, and the green's for £86 delivered!
  12. 423D is superseded by 423G.. 424D is superseded by 424F, which is replaced by 424H... But the 423/424 without a letter ending isn't superseded by anything according to etka.. Now I'm a bit unsure.. :( Thanks man! :salute:
  13. Yeh, what about the petrol mate? Besides, I've got a rear bearing absolutely HOWLING at me atm and it's doing my nut, so the rado isn't being driven much at all. Plus on top of that Im spending the Easter holiday with my lovely GF :luvlove:
  14. Cheers dude! Had noticed that it was for the Sedan's etc, Im just wondering if it matters between each one...what differences could there be? Ah well, just hope when I get the deal I go for they're correct :dorky:
  15. No money dude, and I mean no money! All available funding is going towards brakes atm :(
  16. I kinda think all cars need the colour breaking up a bit! Id never personally run a colour-coded grill, but each to their own man! :D
  17. Nice cheers Andy! What do u reckon then, black? Any more pix of this old rado then matey, heard a lot about it!
  18. Cheers, yeh I understand that part of it. It's the last letter that's confusing me - the revision part. Does it matter which I go for??
  19. Im wondering what the last letter means in VW part no's...according to the wiki it means revisions, which is what Id say anyways coz many items that look the same seem to have the same part no. with just a different letter at the end... For instance, in ETKA there are 5  entries for mk4 rear calipers with 232mm discs...! All the carriers are the same, sorted. All the calipers are the same too, apart from the last letter. Last 3 digits and letter we have "423 & 424", "423 D and 424 F", "423 A & 424 A", "423 B & 424 B", and "423 B & 424 B" again. :confused4: Anyone have any clarification on whether it matters which one I get??
