  1. BigpantsBaby has a blackberry R32, but Im not 100% if it's driving atm or not...
  2. After a lil research - silicone based sounds best as it's less aggressive with rubbers...
  3. Wasn't me. I dont own a Storm. Wasn't my mate either. He owns a Honda.[/quote:sx99bfdf] eh?
  4. I think copper grease will probably be too abrasive, I think I may use some lithium grease...
  5. Was thinking of copper grease, wasn't sure tho... :confused4:
  6. As the title, what should I lube up the caliper pins with please on my mk4 rear calipers? Also, does it matter which side which pin goes in? As one has a flat, the other has a step on it? Like this: DSC01146.jpg[/attachment:3nzsakgv]
  7. Saw a Mystic Storm parked up at the market place in Devizes, on Friday night around 10pm. No plate was L*** PAM. Seen it around before I had my rado!
  8. Wish mine would pass 1st time once, let alone 12 times!! Good work :thumbleft:
  9. poll250 - did u manage to wire your dials up so that the LCD's come on when u switch the ignition on? Im going to be picking mine up today from the Post Office, and want this little mod as I've already done the reverse LCD mod, and it can get a little hard to see during the day! From the above post tho, does wiring it up as u suggested, G60_Marc, affect the ability to dim the lights? (BTW, Im gonna be keeping my 3 LED backlit bulbs on)
  10. The illumination is for the light dimming if the HU has it available - ie when u put the lights on in the car, the HU display should dim slightly. Sounds like u got it right there mate, have u got a multimeter to check the constant and switched +ve?
  11. Hey buddy, thanks man! Yeh the mileage is low, it's creeping up tho!! (he's on 63k now!) The V1's are coilovers mate, which means there is a locking plate which u can adjust (by moving it up or down the threaded strut) and hence lowers (or highers) the car. Sorry if u already know this, just not 100% on what u mean by ur question. If what u meant by 'standard KW V1' ride height was is mine as the highest position the coilovers go, then no! It can go higher mate so it won't be an issue with urs! I think mine are roughly just under half way wound down... :thumb right:
  12. I've all ways said it the unofficial HQ as every time I go there they all ways have more than 2 rados there. Last week I counted 8 and thats no including my own. That's because ur up there every week!
  13. Jake, I get something similar to what u describe. For instance if it's the 1st time Im driving it that day, after 10 seconds down the road I get a 'crunch/clicking' noise from the undercarriage it seems...and as u describe if it's left for a while after and I get in it again it does the same again :confused4: Sorry for the hi-jack, emu ya its a pain ent it. I think it might be the bushes or somthing. Well if yours stops doing it after you have had that work done on it we know were to look :D I think I can feel it in the pedals too, but haven't driven it for a while so will try and remember to 'feel out for it'
  14. Thanks for the offer..... TBH I’m only looking for a pair of working Front Brake callipers as I want to get new disc and pads. 4eyes2wheels can have first dibs. :D Keep checking up on the bay - I got myself a set of mk3 288's delivered for £27 recently!

  17. Henny, are u aware of DG's front disc shield for larger brakes?
  18. TimDoc - looks good! Think I'll be gettin' mine done there, how much did it cost altogether then? More pix of the tailpipe? :D
  19. TAKE ITTTTTT! :D Dude, where are u going to be parked, in the camping area or are u not staying at the campsite?
  20. Good times! How're u enjoying the new stance? Looks good! :thumbleft:
  21. Ya I would rather a plug in drill as I think they are better. You got a link to that drill? Yeh u got more power as its from the mains! 500w Argos one here and the 760w Halfords one here
  22. Sounds like u got some good plans for the wheels! I agree, DEFINATELY a polished lip :norty: , and some darkness somewhere... Mate if ur getting a plug-drill as opposed to a cordless, I got one from Halfords a couple of months ago for like £15 and it's still going strong! Taken some proper abuse recently with the calipers too!! There's one in Argos for like a tenner. The reviews on it are 99% 5star! :thumbleft:
  23. Lookin' well tasty Ryan! How did u do the tints - spray?
