  1. Hi mate, I bought the mk4 calipers off the forum here for £49 delivered. TPS for gen VW discs £14 each! TPS for ABS rings £11 each. TPS for bearings £18 each. TPS for pads £20ish. TPS for carrier bolts, £2 for 4. Amazon.co.uk for the Goodridge hoses £28 delivered. Hope it helps you.
  2. I should get chance to go to the car tomorrow, get pics then. Worth waiting for fella!
  3. Wow, amazing work and a credit to you mate. What a mental good mpg figure!!!
  4. Went out for the first drive in about 4 weeks, felt really strange after driving the Passat for all that time. The steering was harder, the gearchange was a lot more solid and direct, seats harder but the brakes not as good! Still need to bleed the whole system again after the rear mk4 changeover. After a few miles, back to being used to it, all smiles again . Now the C is back to being semi-retired, my mrs bought me a solar powered trickle charger. Very neat looking unit that sits on the dash and just clips onto the battery. No more drained batteries for me :thumbleft:.
  5. Wow these seem to be hard to find in good condition and two come along at once! Wouldn't mind just the fronts from a set :thumbleft:.

Hi mate, I've got a feeling you're thinking of the original item off the car and the wanted guy is after the aftermarket all in one unit. Wouldn't mind one myself. Aren't they about £90 new?
  7. I'm sure I would have this one from our 94 2.0 16v breaker. Let us know and we'll see if we can help you out buddy.
  8. If the headlight switch is fully working and an undamaged late type then I'll take that please.
  9. Mine fits a late C fine, I've fitted it to the headlining trim right next to the windscreen and it doesn't catch the rear view mirror at all. You can see how close it sits in the pics on my build thread link I posted up above.
  10. The Passat visor is fixed to the Passat with fixing tabs into the headlining strip, we don't have those obviously so its a bodge job! Cut them off and super glued mine in place. About half way down the page are a few pics and details- http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?44255-My-Rado-VR6-Mystic-Blue.-Pleasure-and-Pain!/page14
  11. They look smart and suit the car. Got mine from a breakers for free :thumbleft: My 98 Passat has it in as well if it helps someone to find a breaking Passat.
  12. We have a grey boot carpet, will dig it out for you mate, was in very good condition in the car. Has the raised wheel section in it, don't they all have that in? Thinking about it, our car had a spacesaver in. Would a carpet for a full size spare have a bigger hump in it then? Say £20 and you sort a courior out to Ireland? (If its any good to you that is)
  13. Haha, no sorry I was answering both parts of his suggestion at once. Granted it doesn't look like I was doing that but rest easy, I'm not THAT stupid! I realise what chassis legs are, I was asking about those and leaving a space to ask about the screen without mentioning I was. Now that is cleared up. I've never read of anyone in need of complete chassis legs, so hence my question about them. Cut all or part of them off?
  14. Hi Neil, Could you elaborate a bit on the front chassis legs please. I take it you mean the A pillars around the screen?
  15. Hi guys, The shell of the breaker is going on monday next week. Before it goes, I wondered which parts would be worth cutting off to help other cars. I'm thinking the rear arches (one potentially is sold), fuel filler area? Rear panel under boot lid and behind rear bumper. Sills? So, what else should be saved? Cheers in advance, be good to be able to help out some of the rustier cars out there.
  16. We will have one from our 94 2.0 16v. The fuel tank is coming out this Sat, could grab this if you're still in need.
  17. I would certainly expect someone to be prepared to pay north of £5-6k if its in tip top condition. Mileage isn't the whole story but does make a big difference to values. Best of luck with sale, selling on here could get you a good sale from an enthusiast.

    16V Fuel Tank

We have one still attached to the car. Can you say the best way to disconnect and drain?
  19. I was very lucky to get the same premium as last year, sounds like this isn't the norm then. Not trying to rub it into anyone on here, just stating so people know there is a possiblility of getting a deal. I had a quote from another who were cheaper than the renewel and Brentacre matched last year to keep the business. They do need to see a written quote from someone else to play ball.
  20. I'm pretty sure you can't buy rear wings as they are an integral part of the car. You might be able to get a whole rear quarter panel that goes up and over the glass. I have a breaker that I could cut for you if needed? Pm me your requirements and I'll see what canbe done for you mate. Ours is a completely rust free car to put your mind at ease. Hope it helps.
  21. Let me know when you plan on fitting them mate, I'll make sure I'm busy then:thumbleft:
  22. Hi Mark, I'm Rob's mate he mentioned. The hard bit is still to come and take it off. I think our most realistic time we could give it a go would be next Sat morning if thats not too long for you to wait. We could try to sort out posting it to you but as you can imagine, its a bit of a risk to send. Would you like the idea of covering some fuel money to meet up somewhere between our towns? Cheers for now, Matt.
  23. What are the weight differences to the original? I guess the price will be for a bare tailgate, what are most people's plans for glass or a perspex type material?
  24. Exactly, most of the old ones will be discoloured from years of build up in them. New ones don't cost a lot of money.
  25. Ask at your local TPS mate, should be able to help you out.
