Those part numbers on a google search only gives me the 4 pin sensor (plus housing, and from what i can gather is the same as the OBDII). Unfortunately i need the seemingly more expensive 6 pin sensor :( Edit: Also checked up on VagCat for the part numbers for the lambda sensors and the numbers are the same for all engine types, its only the letter that changes ie: The one ive got in the garage is: 037 906 265 B which is for the 9a and the ABV is 037 906 265 A or E.... So, it could be used im guessing? That's not to say that it works or will work?

Thanks Elliott, I'm scanning the VR, the 16v doesn't have traction control (and it currently up on axle stands on my dads driveway :(). Yes, i remember those relays, I should have a couple of them left over from when I stripped my donor 16v (didnt realise they were for the ABS but i keep all relays) I think you can reach the relays from underneath if you pull the glovebox out slightly (until it reachs the 'hump') as i dont fancy taking the whole thing out again! Hopefully cleaning the plug will do the job for me too as i don't really want to buy a new pump :(

It does sound as if there might be an air leak somewhere. I know the cat needs replacing as its got a few small holes but would that contribute? I need to have a proper look when its a bit lighter. Is it worth changing the MAF anyway, as i cant be sure whether it is a problem or not, it seemed to change note to begin with, then when i tried it again nothing really happened so im not sure? Or since its not the 4 pin its not going to be cheap? thats what my MAF housing looks like

Wont let me change it to 5 only 7/8 and both give me the same error Changing the latency seemed to get me the results. I've got errors: VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.1 Thursday, 03 November 2011, 18:30:48. Control Module Part Number: 1H0 907 379 E Component and/or Version: ABS/EDS TEVES 04 Software Coding: Work Shop Code: VCID: 311596C7E827 3 Faults Found: 00276 - ABS Outlet Valve; Left Rear (N136) 35-00 - - 00280 - Differential Lock Valve 2 35-00 - Please Register/Activate 00532 - Transmission Control Module Relay - Supply Voltage (B+) Malfunction Low Battery or Bad Ground -OR- 00532 - Supply Voltage (B+) And i think i can hear the ABS pump turning on and off and the light goes and i hear a click (but not near the fuse box), then it comes on again

Unplugged the cable to the maf and engine note does change, it goes as if its about to stall. Also its 6 with (but with only 5 cables).4 I updated my VAGCOM to 1.1 and now im getting error code: 00553 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) 29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent But that might have been due to it being unplugged perhaps? On measurement block 6 O2 active im getting between 0.961 and 1.016, Idle Adapted Value 1.359, Part throttle adapted value 1.203 and full throttle adapted value 0.852 Also should my idle revs be 680RPM? UPDATE: I cleared the codes and tried unplugging the maf sensor again, this time there was no noise change...

Swiftkid, I did read your response on another thread but there's so many different answers its hard to find the correct one! I will do all said tests and post my response on here to see what you think, thanks!

OK thanks, ill have a look when I get home from work

I think my lambda sensor is on the way out, Vagcom gave me error code 00537 - Lambda (Oxygen Sensor) Regulation: 08-10 - Control Limit Surpassed - Intermittent which im going to assume means it'll need replacing. It might sound a bit naive but I've got a spare lambda from a 16v 9a engine, would it work on my VR6? Part number for the 16v lambda is 037 906 265 B I cant seem to find any correct numbers for the VR6 one, and searches online and ebay seem to think that they're suitable for both valvers and VR's..... Plus, can anyone confirm that this error code means it'll need replacing

Cool thanks, i downloaded the one that the seller gave me a link for. Now I've got to catch the car with the light on as its intermittent!

Right, ABS light came on so after a scan it came up with these errors: VCDS-Lite Version: Release 1.0 Saturday, 29 October 2011, 14:42:51. Chassis Type: 50 - VW Corrado Scan: 01,02,03,15,25 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 01: Engine Labels: 021-906-258.LBL Controller: 021 906 258 AG Component: MOTOR PMC 1 Coding: 0261203109 Shop #: 1267357531 3 Faults Found: 00533 - Idle Speed Regulation 10-10 - Adaptation Limit Not Reached - Intermittent 00561 - Mixture Adaptation 14-10 - Mixture Adaptation: Adaptation Limit (Add) Exceeded - Intermittent 00537 - Lambda (Oxygen Sensor) Regulation 08-10 - Control Limit Surpassed - Intermittent Readiness: N/A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 021-906-258.LBL Controller: ABS /ED S Note: Excessive Comm Errors I've no idea what to make of the ABS 'Excessive Comm Errors' and after checking the Ross Tech Wiki for the other codes the symptoms are now more visible to me. However they offer up various different ways of possibly resolving the issues but I was wondering if anyone has experienced these codes themselves and if they were able to come to a solution? I did have an issue with the damper box on the ISV, where it was cracked etc, it still is but we coated it in filler but there might still be a hole, also I need a new CAT so these could help with 00533 and 00561 as they mention causes being possible air leaks with intake/exhaust. 00537 could be a faulty O2 sensor but after reading online people have replaced them and still had the issue... I guess my first port of call should be replacing all these items; O2 sensor, Damper box and the CAT and go from there, unless anyone else has some other ideas as these are all expensive parts :( Any help would be grateful

Breaking 1995 Corrado VR6 - 117k, Full Black Leather
eugopnosaj replied to Purple Tom's topic in Cars for Breaking
have you got the rear number plate light cover for the boot lid? It'll be a different colour to mine but i dont think there's any chance of getting one in sherry pearl! -
I haven't got into programming mode yet but i think it might be because the all the correct cables arent connected (you need a door and boot open i think and one of my door switch cables isnt attached) Strangely unlike yours, my manual (that would have come with the alarm) has on page 19 (assuming yours is the same as mine): 4 - Basic Functions 4.1 - Controlled windows lift (comfort) Keep button 'A' pressed when arming the alarm. The windows close in a 'controlled mode'. The windows will stop closing if the button is released. I have got the 'ENABLED' box coloured and it closes the windows when i keep the lock button closed, but you can change it to have the lock pulse at 23 seconds so it will close the windows without having to stand and wait

HOW TO FIT RED ILLUMINATION SWITCHES
eugopnosaj replied to C488ADO's topic in [Archive] Wiki Submissions & Collaboration
I guess it depends how many switches need doing. If you've already got LEDs then brilliant, but I've got a few (I've got red, blue, green, white and yellow, all 3mm, they're not 12v but ive got plenty of resistors) and if enough people want them done I can start sourcing more. I wasn't thinking a lot and i'd rather give a cost for like a set of switches as it would be cheaper say a tenner for a set or something and a couple of quid for individual switches plus whatever it costs to cover postage maybe? Let me know if this sounds unreasonable... -
£100 posted sound alright to you?

HOW TO FIT RED ILLUMINATION SWITCHES
eugopnosaj replied to C488ADO's topic in [Archive] Wiki Submissions & Collaboration
I can do them for a small fee if people wanted...I changed the switches (including the sunroof and mirror switch) in my Valver to blue and the all switches (no sunroof) in the VR to red -
Sorry mate haven't had access to a computer since I posted the last message. Please find the installation instructions attached in PDF form. I was having a look at the wiring for the alarm and it seems that the almightly Andy from trim wizard was a bit lazy with my alarm and instead of installing it with new wiring he spliced into the existing old VW conlog alarm cabling and hasnt attached all the correct wires, for example the door wiring for the switches arent all attached.... If you manage to get it into programming mode i'd really appreciate it if you can let me know how you did it! HTH 06DE2143A.pdf

Alpine 113bt (with bluetooth and ipod connection) of any interest to you mate?

When I get home ill upload it

OK so my vr is running rough, sounds like a tractor and the whole car shakes, fuel consumption is shocking and smells rich. there doesn't seem to be any loss of power though and fluids/oil/temps all seem fine. I recorded audio but its a bit crap, you can make out the noise right near the end, ill try recording it again later. Any ideas to what it could be? I've done a search but haven't really found anything solid
-
you shouldn't need an additional module, if you push and hold the lock button it will close the windows (mine does). Mine was also fitted by Andy but as you can DIY fit it there are programmable functions, such as changing it from hold to 24second pulse to lock, auto arm, lock whilst driving etc. I managed to get hold of the fitting instructions but can't seem to get it into program mode...
-
Does anyone else have this alarm fitted in their car, if so has anyone been able to enter the programming mode? I want to change it so that it auto closes the window without me having to hold the button, i also want to enable auto lock etc
-
I've got the lite version and an 'ebay special' cable, ran a test and got nothing, do you get a report even if no errors are found?
-
Ok thanks ill give that a go tomorrow. Would this be the issue causing it to run lumpy or could it be something else?
