  4. You have too many spare days... A days worth of light up here is about 4-5 hours seeing I get up at 10 :D
  5. Standard in the winter with sebrings. it gets splits in the summer. Only mods are loom, wipers and mk4 calipers
  6. A class idea :!: Just out of noseyness are the vw's valves hard enough to take it? Other things to consider if using long term the water vapour given off naturally when its burnt tends to knacker exhausts quickly too. Damn C3's great until you get a cold burn from it :(
  7. Someone on here had the nozzle fitting right beside the vw badge at the rear and colour coded it wasnt that easy to spot either. As for fitting make sure they are LPGA approved and then its usually insured for no extra cost if they and and you have a certificate to prove so. I always thought Propane had a high calorific value but equaled to around 90 octane(it is higher but hard to extract extra power)I could be wrong but I was in the business for around 15 years. Theres a lot more garages around now that sell LPG failing that if you have a company or use a lot get your own tank and hand pump;usually 1200 litres or smaller in size and cheaper again, remember to factor in the tank rental, this of course depends on where you live. http://www.lpga.co.uk/LPGA.htm For grant assisted conversions; The powershift register is only for new cars and cars under 3 years old in scotland and must be on the register to benefit. LPG is quite hard on the valve seats unsure if vw's are hardened enough to take constant lpg battering,Im sure they are hard for unleaded anyway? Phats kit is worth that all day btw

  18. 2 cars and a scooter One car is usually parked up over the summer and it aint the yellow one. I was going to mothball it when I got it,then I thought sod it,lets just enjoy it.
  19. I think if you have a genuine tidy car it should hold its value better. It depends what you compare it to,a golf vr6 hasnt got the same value at all. The rumours over car tax and anything over a 1.8 paying higher car tax dont help with values. They are sought after but only if right.
  20. usual figures are 34-36 on a run in top around 60 round town 30 booting it once warm about 27

I did put a wee kink in the screwdriver just to make it quicker. Afair its a flat head? Chubbz remember not to over tighten it,as It may have to come out in the future 8)
