Very nice wheels. Im surprised that lpg tank is in a right S**t state. not a credit to its owner, they should look after it better than that. -
Saab Estate,Merc estate,Octavia or a recent mitsubishi lancer cos they are cheap

These guide prices are accurate, when I say that I mean they are because this is probably all the insurance will give you if write one of these lovely cars off. My attitude with insurance is find me another, same milage etc etc (And pray)
-
Can you paint them so they are the same colour as the car body?
-
Tim, I think Craigowl has a set on his Storm. Fit them to the front of the car and you will know your too close when tailgating ;-)

Why dont you just phone them ? -
Lippy has a point 17-25 is rather a large spread of years. insurance used to get cheaper when you got to 21,25,30,35. Just do what my old firm did; they formed thier own insurance company 8) The consumer drives prices so vote with the feet. People can do things to drop quotes pass your I.A.M test do the smith driving system, pass plus etc It sounds good to certain insurance companies that recognise the extra qualifications that you have gone out of your way to get and pass. Certain companies wont even let you drive without some of these or put you forward for them if you havent, its just trying to limit risk. insurance is just risk assesment they can charge as they like and have to try and remain competitive, they dont have to insure you thats thier choice and I can see more companies going for safer drivers, like esure, saga, who are keen to insure slow rover drivers who do 6000 miles a year. Or go for a trade policy its another option but only pays out trade values on claims usually.

They are paying more walesy cos they are paying out more due to the claims. TIm, not sure if you have heard of pay as you drive? I have a spy in my car and it checks my speed and wil in the future charge how where and when I drive. It seems to think theres lots of motorways in the area I drive in though  They reckon and I quite believe it all cars will have them and issue speeding tickets as a matter of course. anyway £180 for a jap car for the year 8)

Timo, I thought coppers got cheap insurance through thier own scheme or summit. One of the girls here has always had a golf gti since she was a cop and told us all she was quoted happy via the federation insurance scheme or similar. Bottom line for us all we were all young once and all had to pay high premiums; My first car was a fiesta Ghia 1.1 twin webber carb. not actually fast but willing, insurance was £400 18 years ago. I saved up my no claims and bought higher group insurance cars as I got older, its never buying the car thats the problem its keeping the car legit thats the cost,so cut the cloth to suit.

I wouldnt say its trouble at all Its probably one of the more bomb proof engines a corrado has. cambelt and tensioner should be the only thing I would get done. Use the search facility sorry if I sound like a stuck record

It needed an Ignition Amp when we first got it as it had been sitting in a heated garage for three years,They reckon its normal. Car had 45k when we bought it;that was 3 or 4 years ago  Every MOT even with low miles is like waiting for a baby 8) It did fail last year on a main beam bulb, shame really as it never had one since we had it :-D Standard 144bhp It looks ok for 17 years old 8) Thanks to all Roy
