Did the Corrado have a standard CD headunit?
chubbybrown replied to Balti Pie's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Fraid the corrados were too old for cs units Ive contemplated fitting a six stack myself. but just went for a blue screened pioneer mp3 player instead -
I got a mitsi as well £510 required for its next service if they find nothing wrong. Plus the MOT at £50+ I think hers was £250 with new rear discs n pads and hers is a 89 corrado,I think its like any car pay more for a good one. SInce weve had ours its had tyres, calipers, brakes and an ignition module. The rest were fitted as precaution . Still cheap for what it is. with little depreciation compared to a newer car

New Uprated 80% brighter H4 Bulbs (Standard Wattage)
chubbybrown replied to Yandards's topic in Exterior
Yes Ive replaced with sealey waterproof fuseholders and so far Ive never had a problem since. :D -
Dont smash anything, its quite easy to change. All you require is some screw drivers and a very small one you can if possible bend at the end to reach the captive screw. Just dont over tighten this little one as someone might have to replace it again. I changed mine with little effort in about 20 minutes. It didnt need replacing but after reading them being a common I changed it. There is a guide on here and if you stick to it,its easy peasy.

Terrible... I hope the car turns up intact.

Bp's ultimate is batched seperately its not just a gallon of additive chucked in when the tankers on the bay at the terminal. Unsure about V power as I dont work for shell,I tend to use the shell stuff as its pretty good comapred to 95ron. The old car doesnt pink with 95a surprisingly as I thought according to the book it should run on 98 anyway. So for me Im only running it on what its supposed to be run on. My mitsi should be run on super+ too

New Uprated 80% brighter H4 Bulbs (Standard Wattage)
chubbybrown replied to Yandards's topic in Exterior
After reading supercharged thread on these bulbs being BOGOFF and blowing a bulb last saturday night (typical; No posing round town at 1am) I went and bought two for £14.99 at halfords, a Place I dont normally frequent. But I have to say with An upgraded loom with waterproof fuseholders these Bulbs are a major Improvement on OEM and OEM+headlight loom that was fitted before, its more Brighter and a whiter light. With Two ordinary bulbs for £10 in there in a dual pack its a no Brainer to pay the extra fiver for such a big difference. I didnt bother upgrading the inners as they were £19 for h3's if thats the right fitting. Thanks To All posters,Yandards + Supercharged -
I think they are more of a clear glass. A prudent move would be cover them in acetate film to take the edge off potential cracking.

Just checked insurance for a car, standard is £500 ANy chassis problems and at our old cars age it would be written off ( Hypothetically speaking ) Good luck
