-
Trying hard not to sound like an ass but you know who sells them, pick up the phone?
-
Probably broken........funny number plate though
-
Where did you get the 5mm hubcentric spacers from mate?
-
the wheel couriers on ebay are worth an ask
-
Pretty sure they fit as long as they are the same type of hanger. If not it would fit with a bot of work.
-
Loosten your wheel off and then centre it by eye, sometimes spacers need a nudge with a screwdriver too. See where that gets you first.
-
well wriggled a few cables today, started up, tickover normal. happy days :D

skoda superb tdi is worth looking at, seriously overlooked cars. plenty of space, good ride, good toys on most of them.
-
sadly the most useful pics i have; all i have ever done with any front bumper is shove the irons in the holes (pic 2) and make sure the plastic rails inside the bumper slide on correctly near the wing. maybe you can highlight where the prob is to help get an answer
-
yes, as far as im aware there was issues previously but these were rectified with g12+ which is now just standard g12
-
its part of the front engine mounting, hence the no driving without it on.... so supporting is indeed a good idea. manps - sounds like the (iron) bracket may be bent on your bumper. if you still have the old bumper maybe you can compare them
-
two bolts either side. straight forward job as the go. wd40 can be of use. dont drive your car with the front bumper off.
-
yeah normally comes as part of the chip. think the sns stage 5 puts the limiter at 11,000 rpm as apparently the back pressure from hitting it can make it go bang. the 'modern classic' top gear one should keep the vr crew smiling though.
-
To go for 280's you would need discs pads carriers and calipers. I think the pads are the same as a 1.8 16v though, hopefully someone will confirm or deny?
-
Dont actually know how much damage it can do, but i know you shouldnt mix oils. If theres only a cupful in then drop it out and start again??
-
there is a satin silver vr6 conversion on here for cheap. looks nice enough
-
im upgrading my brakes to 288's on the front. i paid £35 for discs/pads/calipers/carriers and hubs, that was delivered too. so unless you want brand new kit then you dont need to fork out that much. few cars being broken. grab a g60 setup for yours, probably £50 to £80ish depending on condition. vr6 uses the same setup but 5 stud discs

some on egay. perfomance vw magazine
-
bbm ones seem to go well
-
ooooya remeber seein that on dereks exotic cars. theres videos of it driving i think?
-
it makes you wonder doesnt it!!
-
go with them against the caliper so the hose clamps up on them. not convinced they are neede but wont do any harm to have them on
-
err, not entirely sure where you mean. i only used the copper washers on a banjo connection. dont think they required on female swivel joints. depends what you have and where you mean?
-
depends what fitting is on the hose. but if caliper off does the trick, why the hell not
