Thats one fantastic looking install there mate...i too have 2x alpine amps, and one rockford sub though... I'm either going to do mine like yours but one 12" in the middle or someway different. got a few questions for you mate: 1. how stealthy is your install, because your shelf is no longer there, so ppl can see straight into your boot? or can they. 2.is that real leather? wanna take me through how you made it step by step? i.e what sized mdf you used and also how your amps are bolted to the sides too.. 3. do you have measurements of the false floor and also the parcel shelf you have made too?? are the 6x9's run off ya head unit? that is the best corrado install i have seen DIY wise! how good is the finish of halfords paints?? isn't it much better to give the handles to a bodyshop..but they'd be about £50 for them to do it. Which if you add up cost of paints from halfords...£20 or so...then time and then finish. might as well pay the extra £30 and get a few more things done, like washer jets...grill maybe? Just my 2p..sorry. :roll:

hello guys, this is a post on behalf of a mate who's just joined the forum. 'bigtimeg60'...aka andy. He's got this aweful problem with his speedo twitching once the engine is warm, it constantly twitches while engine is idling and even when driving. Any ideas on a fix? or what is causing the problem...andy isn't on here much and he's asked me to post up a topic to find a cure. thanks guys! Sanj. :)

still not sure yet. I won't really know until i have the money to spend on the full interior. Cos i'm not sure whether to buy a whole c interior in one go like aposegil, or buy the bits one by one. If you get a buyer, just sell em mate...keep an eye out on pvw classifieds and ebay. You'll find tonnes of mk2 stuff goin on there! What insurance group is it in? is it still quite expensive? nice one...looks fantastically MINT! i say, buy some bbs rims abotu £250 max, slam it on springs and shocks...£150...two round headlights up front and M3 crystal lights on rear, eurotek will charge £200 odd for all that lot in one go. Then your driving a minted golf mk2 and have a show stopping corrado too! Or leave it standard...either way its all good mate. 8) Sanj.

that is some work harry... i like the borbets, and i really like the clean engine bay. Any chance you could PM me as to how much the shiny bits cost you? The isotta wheel will suit it very well. If you do decide to take a photo of it, can you maybe take one your car from the side too...i wanna know how low the car looks and how much the wheels fill the arches. It was bought by my good friend BOBBY...from the forum, he just needs to be re-assured its still in one piece and not jacked. Help is well appreciated. i reckon...whatever the G60 cost when it came out minus maybe £300, maybe more depending if its been stored in a dry warm place...a heated garage perhaps. That salt air mustn't be good for a car sitting on a small island for 14years.

they're becoming more popular ever so quickly...the VR's obviously the more expensive and more known as the classic since the Top gear stunt. In my area theres atleast 10+ 2x premier power jobs...both blue- reiger 3slat grills,audi handles, coilovers (difference is bodywork and leather seats. ones grey the other is cream) 1x standard red 16v. 1x standard black 16v. 1x storm! 1x silver ex premier corrado. 1x j a m e s old corrado black G60 1xnot forgetting kevinworts 2ltr 16v black one with zender spoiler. 1xThen mine. 1xoh oh...nearly forgot. STEVIE B's subaru blue corrado on BBS wheels. i've seen a woman driving a green one through town too...a VR6. NORTHAMPTON is big on the dub scene due to premier power being here as well as Ex-golf owners upgrading. :twisted:

I think the only girl i know who drives a corrado is now Vicky richards aka pink polo lady...she had the pink polo with hydraulics, body kit etc.. I think its a VR6 she drives now...do you know her ben? I've let my g/f laura drive my corrado a few times, but i don't trust her fully yet to let her drive on her own. :mrgreen: Theres a female dubbers site called http://www.dubchicks.com If you guys know of emma with the light green G40 polo...She kinda came up with it.

Thats just plain insane...i would love to buy a car, stick it on an island and sell it when its a classic! imagine an island so small that you could build your own garage on it...store all the cars you love and sell them eventually...it'd be as if a VW branch got frozen in time and begun selling stock from 13yrs ago!!! saw an EVO 7 pop flames tonight...as well as a Jamsport tuned escort van with NOS. Also saw a huge crash...where a Integra Type R pulled in front of a racing Ford focus ...driver of honda was gutted. My crashes are due to driving on slicks...well practically. Its due to my bone idelness...in just 3months i've bent my wishbone, slid into an E36 BMW...and also slid while braking into a Vectra GSI...but the guy was really cool about it and i'll soon be off in his 2 seater caterham 7. New tyres means less crashes....the popping flames things just looks awesome...but i wouldn't touch a flamer kit. Like someone on here said, the car has to have balls to do it! and anyway, my cars a VW..not a ford. :roll: :cry: Rodders- :oops:

my 16v has no such plug under the gear gaitor...would it be behind the the dash near the glove box area?

so whats the corrosion rate on the supersports?? Will they last a year or 6years...would it be better to get them nickel plated or something? I ask because i'm pretty sure KW Varient's site has a test which shows their coilies withstand the weather better. I'm going for supersports anyhow...just a thought though. :|

is there any way of doing this on my 1.8 KR?? Obviosuly no cat...and i think i'm over fuelling slightly because it runs around 22mpg! How easy is it to rig up a flame kit?? Anyone know how?? P.S yes it is cool...ok it doesn't show performance, but it gets looks! Everyone seen that TT VR6?? the one that spits flames...well nice!!!

finally bobby...u show up!! have you hunted a corrado down then?? how did all my advice come in handy? I've had a slide and car kinda hit a BMW E36's rear corner of the bumper. I got off that, just need a new wing really. Passenger side in aqua blue or any blue...but has to be minted. Let me know mate...or i could pay you to find one and spray it same colour as mine. hennys right...wot you would expect to see is a 2x2 pin connector under the gear gaitor shift...but i was told 2days ago that the only way to check diognostics on a 16v KR is to find a ground wire on the ECU and attach some sort of light that flashes a number of times to tell you what the problem could be. I'm sure theres a techy term for this.

Gavin..i attached that grey thing back up, put the cleaner ISV back on...and pulled the rubber suppressor out and back into the lead again. CAR IS BACK!!! Now just need a wing...and a new tyre from jay renshaw. Maybe a new holeless airbox too.
