  1. I dont think anyone would swap a vr6 for a g60 becouse of fuel economy. There was a guy on here that sold his corrado tdi and is?was? Planning on doing another one just to sell... I think thats your best option.

  7. Turn your ignition on then turn off and remove key. Insert the key again and turn ignition on. Did you feel any resistence when turning? Now turn ignition off and on again (without removing key) did you feel any resistence? More or less then the first time?
  8. Sorry but you can retumble thumble the ignition lock. Theres a hole you drill and pin inside that you press in. But you stil need the key that goes with that ignition lock for it to slide out
  9. These engines are 3 cylinders... I drove one the other day, it was remaped and i really enjoyed it :D
  10. Cam belt is 70/80k. Does it have service history? Have a look when was the clutch last done. Towing does make the clutch go faster... See how the clutch feels and have a quick look at the brakes... But like its been said above... For 700 i would have it like it is
  11. Mine does the same. Toad alarms should lock the car when you turn on ignition, and unlock when ignition off. But on corrados the locking doesnt work. I did call a toad alarm fitter and he said that in some cars the locking on ignition is not supported since the central locking module doesnt allow locking with ignition on. But theres a mod that can be done so it works. And if you dont like it you should contact the fitter and ask him how to disable that function

  19. Well your problem is 100% immobiliser. I dont have any experience with such old system. But maybe rw1 knows about it. Go into the immobiliser module on vagcom and read the meassurement blocks.... Theres goin to be one thats the start authorisation. Move the wires around and see if it makes any difference. Rw1 should know more about this I would think
  20. Camber is adjusted on the balljoint and where the hub bolts into the shock... You cant really adjust it without laser machines.
  21. Best to erase all the faults and start the engine... Then when it cuts out read the faults again. Looks like youve unpluged the big connector of the engine with the ignition on thats why all the faults
