  1. Ok. I have now one led for the ashtray ready for postage. Anyone? Finished with the led lights for the heater controlls. Going to send them to Anton for him to try and let me know how they perform, im shure its not going to work as I wanted to but Im no able to test them. Heres some pics of the heater controll ones. First one is twin smd led (this is just the same ones you can buy on ebay) The problem with leds is the viewing angle... Im not shure there will be enough light reflected. So I came up with this led, theyre special angled leds with 120° viewing angle. But it came a bit too long, I hope it doesnt hit the cover at the back when fitting.
  2. Theres allways the option to remove the immobiliser, but, its not a cheap thing since the ecu has to coded by someone in the know how (stealth). The very first thing you should do is follow the wire that comes from thw reader coil (circle black plastic around the ignition switch) and every plug you find along that wire, unplug it spray some contact spray or wd40 and connect again. Im shure that will help alot. The immobiliser detects voltage resistence and a dodgy connection will cause more resistence.
  3. .... Dont think so... Ive bought a lhd headlight glass (lense?) For my rhd vr and it was the same
  4. Are the headlight reflectors lhd or rhd? Really need for lhd
  5. TPS.... Trade part specialists or throtle possition sensor. Hehehe Tps is the vw parts dealer now
  6. Oooooo headlight bulb covers.............
  7. Do you fill up with antifreeze or just water? Antifreeze ussualy leaves marks from where its leaking. Is engine oil ok? If everything is ok, then it can only be the head. What engine is it? Auto or manual?
  8. What year is your vr? Sounds like immobiliser
  9.:eek: I can go sleep now :sly:
  10. Ok...... 15" nice dish and BIG drop......
  11. Nice vid.... And really nice cars. Love the look of them mk1's
  12. Wow... Thats a bit scary.... I have never seen such thing happen. On my corrados or any other car. Thats a really unluky case. But it is a weird coincidence
  13. Sweeeeet.... Love it.... I wouldnt mind one more bright... One day I will paint one in bright orange..... Hummmmm
  14. I didnt notice any difference wwhen I fitted my powerflex ones.... And theyre much easyer to install
  15. Well its not part of the same system, but the clutch does work with brake fluid from the brake bottle. I would bleed the clutch and see if it improves
  16. +1 On setting one it will reset after a few minutes on ignition off
  17. Im shure theres a couple of places in the uk... I wouldnt send my charger to the states:sly:
  18. The shells are all the same... But if youre going the r32 route then the vr6 is better due to the subframe, brakes. Its a more straight foward job. On a side note... Drove a audi a3 3.2 quattro today.... It really is a much better engine then our vr6s.
  19. Thats why you need the complete heater box of the mk4... It works in a completly different way....
  20. Hey thats great... I see you know about programing. I dont but I wish I would. Did you start from scratch or used a base like roadrunner? My vr6 will be parked up next to other two corrados. Only time will tell what im going to do with it.
  21. Those lilliput are really good, I see you know what youre doing.... Im going on the 12th next month... The last drive on the vr6 :( What front end do you use? I love centrafuse... I really miss it. Once you go carpc its really hard to go back to the normal head units. On my second version I was going to use a audi a4 mmi control panel converted with joycon ex and golf mk5 center console (gear and handbrake tunnel) It was all looking really nice..... In my head anyhow. Hope you can find a centre console so that you can start work on it.... Sometimes they do come up on ebay, I got mine for like £40 a month ago.
  22. Its a cheap chinese brand vga screen.... But very good acctualy, it comes with its housing, I had to strip it all and fiber glass just the frame to the corrado dash. Sorry I dont have any more images. I was building my second version of it wich included removing the center vents... But still there wasnt much more space gained with it due to the shape of the console on the top... I stoped doing it since im moving back to my home country so dont have time. I was thinking in a smaller screen but I really like at least a 800x600 resolution... And theres no screen smaller then 7" that can do those resolutions. Have a search for lilliput screens, they have very good screens with hdmi, and have some single din retractable with hdmi input.
