Actually all red rears, cams, engine mounts and BMC are a good shout.

That looks a lot of work but good luck. Check the charger as mentioned. When was the heater matrix changed? Common failure and a pain to fix. Does the spoiler go up and down automatically and on the switch? Does the roof open and close correctly? Common failure. Do all other electrics work OK? Any rust around the wheel arches or windscreen? Common fault. Evidence of cambelt change? Any rust around the battery compartment? Does the ignitian switch work correctly? Does the headlight switch work correctly and not get hot? Any evidence of wet carpets due to leak?

Check the wiring between the body and doors. The constant opening and closing may have caused a short.

Not interested in aftermarket parts, only standard.

Didn't the US get the 2.8 engine? Maybe it's related to that and they had already printed the first batch of options labels before deciding on a 2.9 for Europe?

Doesn't surprise me that the company got it wrong. With my recent claim they sent an assessor round to the third party car and then reported back to me that they could find no damage on the rear of their car. I had to remind them that the driver had hit mine with their front, not the back, and insist they send the assessor back round again.

Ouch. Not nice to hear.

I believe there is a minor difference between early and late front bumpers. The groove on the side is very slightly different. I think it is only cosmetic though.

A bit of an indirect chuftie this one... I took the kids ice skating today and having walked away from the parked car my youngest tapped at my arm and said "Dad, look someone's taking a photo of the Corrado". I looked back and there was indeed someone with their phone out taking a picture :D

Oh crap missed it. I have a refurbed cylinder head sitting in a box at home and would have probably grabbed this if I'd seen it before it finished.
