  1. Keep on battling Jim . Perseverance is the key to a Corrado lol .
  2. No . These proved troublesome because of the rounded edges .
  3. I paid 60.00 for the rear beam .
  4. I would try Heritage , classic parts , or even flea bay .
  5. I think they are in the same position as Heritage. G60 only .
  6. I'm in the same boat . The ones that do come up on flea bay are not cheap either .
  7. Ive tried quite a few products now , good brand names too . Nothing has really touched my Compomotives . I was cleaning the car and saw some Brasso in my cleaning tub . I decided to wipe some on an inconspicuous place and it cleaned it up lovely . Ive now gently wiped it over the faces of the wheels and all the just about all the staining has come off . I then polished and waxed them . Im not saying i would use it all the time , i think ive neglected my wheels , by just washing them and not polishing and waxing . Just to add they are painted alloys .
  8. Me neither , I will have a sniff around next week and see who I can find to do the job .
  9. Sounds like it's going to get messy .
  10. Hi Sean , I wonder if it would be a good idea to have the splash shields reproduced ? . I have both fronts , which could be used for a pattern .
  11. Happy birthday Sean . Nice cake . Hope you have a good one mate ! . I remember being in my 30s lol
  12. That's pretty cool . I like it . What a price tag though . It will be interesting to see if they sell and who buys them .
  13. Ok , thanks Jim , I will give it another go . I'm not sure if they are a repro part ? I'm not keen on the colour .
  14. A long with various interior bits , i bought the handbrake plastic . I have removed the handbrake grip , but how does the plastic part fit over the metal ?. My old one was split underneath , so it just sat on the top . The part no is 535711463. It came from Heritage , the other thing that bothers me is it seems to be a matt type very dark grey/black. It sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the black plastics inside the car . Many thanks Rob
  15. They look really nice . I would like s set of these .
  16. Valvers only , or Maybe the G60s. Not on the VRs though .
  17. Thanks Darren. When they are on , they are on !. Like so many other owners , having a corrado feels like one step forward and two steps back lol . If I could afford a work shop I would strip it bare and make sure it was like a new car before it left . It would be nice to be able to just tinker .
  18. Thats interseting Dragon ,another problem i have is mine will not go down all the way either, it doesnt stick up by a lot but you can see it , its not flush with the top of the door . I cant see anything fouling it or stopping it from going down all the way .
  19. I'm going to reserve a Sunday for this job , I have a feeling the window is not right either . The drivers side has a lot of play when it's wound down .
  20. That's brilliant , thank you chaps .
  21. Holy shmoly . What a car !
  22. The passenger side is nice and tight though Hasan . It will be a real pain when it's removed and there's nothing wrong with where it sits , but until its removed I will not know .
  23. Thanks for the info , that's great .
  24. Mic , I presume it is , it was replaced as the original was scratched and the rollers were replaced too . But I'm not sure you can fit them back wrong ? Cressa , thanks bud , I will check it out .
