Looks great, David! I've been debating tackling my spare bumper with rattle cans after watching various guides on the net. That looks like a very professional finish though - did you setup a DIY spray booth in the garage then?
-
As I understand it, there should be a fitting kit for the Corrado windscreen which is sort of like those tile spacers - you pop them into each corner and it helps align the screen centrally when bonding it in place. I don't think many places bother with it though, and as in your case, they run into issues with the screen dropping. Good luck though! And depending on how brave you feel, search for the forum for windscreen replacement threads - you're not alone. It's a perpetual source of headaches for unfortunate Corrado owners!

It's pretty clear the folks who are interested aren't going to offer you a price because it's difficult, and you're going to try and get top dollar for it understandably. So this has sort of become a thinly veiled For Sale thread. I'd suggest you just list it at a price you'd be happy to accept (be that £20 or £200), and then entertain offers accordingly. It seems the fairest way.

Not to my knowledge. I think they only sell the kit 'installed'.

Various Corrado Parts For Sale - No Longer Available
Jim replied to pauly2850's topic in Parts for Sale
No - it's a panel filter.. the link you posted in your reply is a picture of it mate :) -
The Corrado's, even the modest 1.8 16v, are fairly high insurance grouping and are only a few groups apart from each other - so the G60 wouldn't be massively different from the G60 to insure. I'd honestly look to start with a 1.8 16v and go from there, depending on how 'hands on' you are with fixing cars. The 1.8 16v is a pretty basic engine so should be the least painful route into Corrado ownership ;)

That's an ingenious idea, and I can't believe it would be THAT difficult to manufacture.

Agreed - about the ad, and the car. Always had a soft spot for the Lupo GTI - cracking little motor!

So what are your average motorway / cruising speed oil temps, Rog?
-
Were you driving flat out in 30 degree heat? :) What sort of temperatures do you normally see on a motorway cruise? Mine was sitting at about 108 centigrade on a motorway drive in the warm weather we had in July, at a fairly steady 70-80MPH.

What - even with your Mocal fitted?!

Pictures will help us be 99% certain on whether it's a Storm or not, including the number plate / year of registration :)

Corrado's always look excellent done up as racing cars - this is no exception. Love it! I have a vague recollection I might have seen this thing at a track day in the rain at Mallory Park in 2007? It was a force to be reckoned with and was outpacing most other stuff on the track..

As I say, you try using Photoshop with a laptop trackpad... it's nigh on impossible! I'm far more able with a mouse!

Trying to Photoshop using a laptop trackpad is a nightmare.. but here's a temporary one.. will do something a little better over the weekend :)

I know it may surprise you but I don't read every single thread, and I do actually go out sometimes ;) But leave it with me...

You can get a similar wheel for the VR in a five stud - the standard original Corrado SLC wheels in the USA were very similar. http://shop.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/vwcp/scirocco-corrado/corrado/fahrwerk/felgen/alufelge-bbs-1h0601025g-091.html

Bit of cheeky advertising and a weird thread to bump but.. figure it might be useful for some people.
