Top secret :) Wait and see what happens.

Not even available from VW any more? FFS :( May be worth taking a punt on a set for a MK3 and reporting back on your progress?
-
I know a bit more about this already. Have been helping the production company for the last few weeks to source parts, answer some technical questions and so forth :) Can't wait to see the episode go out in the Autumn! A forum members car has been used in the show too but saying no more :)

Can you post a screenshot mate? -

The first one pictured is the Brands Hatch, and was an option. The second are Monte Carlo's - they came as standard on the campaign and I think really early VR's, and also VR's / SLC's in other markets (Canada, etc). You can buy the Brand Hatch brand new from Classic Parts for not much more than the cheapo Solitudes. I can't deny I've been tempted by a set for a long time.

Speedline was the standard. There were a couple of 'option' wheels (e.g. Brands Hatch) for the VR and the Solitude was for the Storm only!

Awesome work. Look forward to seeing the the MK3 prototype. Seems only right given the Corrado was the MK3 Scirocco, that the MK3 roof moulding will be the right one for it ;)

Listing this on behalf of a friend who's not a Corrado Forum user. Details are here on the Scirocco Register: http://sciroccoregister.co.uk/carforum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=18567 Can't be many left with this kind of mileage now :) Please register on the Scirocco Register and message him directly to discuss the sale, not me. Cheers.

I think he's talking with some forced induction :)

Ron's Blackberry VR6 - A11 VRX - Getting her back on the road

Nice work, Ron. That does look an excellent fit! -
They all come back.. eventually..

Helped by the very weak euro currently! What's the options for the centre caps these days?
-
Now those I would love to get my hands on :)
-
Yeah - they're still that kind of price, but I'd assume Wendy has Speedlines that need refurbishing.
-
No idea unfortunately :( I'd be reassured by the fact they're a paint shop though, rather than a powdercoaters..

New genuine corrado n/s & o/s complete door mirrors £36.00 each on ebay ??
Jim replied to vw rule's topic in Suppliers Forum
I'm just amazed at the price. He could be charging double for them, and people would still pay. Get em while you can I guess :) -
Regarding the VW transponder system, someone with knowledge of VAG-COM can delete / disable / bypass it.. it might be worth contacting a specialist like Stealth Racing and seeing if you post off your ECU, whether they can bypass it? Then regarding the incumbent alarm system - just rip the whole lot out and get a new one installed. Someone like Andy @ Trim Wizard charges very reasonable prices and knows Corrado's very well.

That's ludicrous. Couple of suggestions in here on a Pistonheads thread from last year: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=1393982

Agreed. I have no issues with this. Provided it's work you're doing yourself I don't see any problems.

We used to have a CCGB discount code but not valid any more I don't think. As said, contact Mr Lobitos. He's a really good guy and should do you a good price.
