It's an option that is turned off by default - not just here but on many other forums which use this software. You need to manually turn it on. Go into your options: http://the-corrado.net/profile.php?do=editoptions Then scroll down and find the option 'Sent Private Messages' and make sure that the option 'Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default' is ticked.

Yep - I'm not a good photographer but now have a decent camera and that helps me turn out some reasonable enough pictures now. So provided you clean the car, I should be able to take care of pictures! Really wish we could organise some kind of shoot with some of the best cars on the forum... concourse ones, modded ones, etc.. shame everyone is so spread out really.
-
That's very helpful - thanks for sharing, Jim :)

Dude - the original thread was four years ago! Please check the dates on these old threads before bumping them. Thanks.

Reasonably good.. pretty sure I got some black pressed metal ones I ordered for my dads classic daimler within a day or two of ordering!
-
eBay for the win. No hassle with having to show proof of ownership of the car either in most cases.. not sure how they get away with it, but there you go!
-
Be good to do a small feature on this car for the Sprinter / CCGB website if you'd be interested mate? Would quite like to try a PVW style interview type deal and few pictures.

Bit steep! Reckon you could pick up an R32 engine and turbo it for similar money!

No but they're about 4x the price for a pair.. -
Welcome aboard :) Always good to see some lurkers emerging from the shadows!

Replica late Corrado wings in fibreglass by SpoonFed Tuning..

The guy did make some questionable comments for sure, but honestly if I ended up needing new wings, I'd still be giving these a go. -
This got posted up on the Corrado Club forum and thought I had to share - amazing news. I wonder what the quality of these is like. Most importantly, no more rusty front wings ever again. http://www.spoonfedtuning.com/collections/corrado/products/corrado-vr6-composite-front-fenders Price seems extremely reasonable too.

That car belongs to Tempest, who is the Corrado Club Events Manager.

Not at all! There your pictures - you post them wherever you want!
-
Agreed on the pictures! Wayne - would you consent to us posting some of those pictures on the Corrado Club Facebook page?
-
Pretty sure I didn't say I was set to come to this, hence not putting my name on the club stand :) But woke up to the ****ing rain, and have just been flat out in the last few weeks so decided to have a day at home catching up on all the boring stuff.
-
CH's look the bomb on your car Mic. Always loved the other wheels, but CH's are one of my all time favourites.
-
Regarding the club stand it is, I believe, fully booked. Sorry folks. We only had room for 10 cars, not a big plot like we've had like on anniversary years sadly.
-
Looking forward to seeing the finished article Chris :) And maybe a scary passenger ride at some point! The number plate can be taken without any doubt now.. no G60's going to be touching that car :)
-
Yep... G60 badge should be below the Corrado script, and to the right.. see attached!
-
Looks super :) Welcome aboard!

I wouldn't bother replacing it with the genuine VW cable - I swapped it on one of my Corrado's a few years back, and it snapped in exactly the same way no more than 18 months later. Flawed design!
-
Some late Corrado's (8v) I believe came with a fixed height column. Most of the bits are still available to buy from Volkswagen and are not stupid money - however the plastic surround is different on the non-height adjustable version and is, surprise surprise, obsolete. The column / 'tube' that comes up from the UJ itself is the same on, I think, a 6N polo :)

Good work! Nice to hear a positive update.

I've dabbled on the decks with Drum and Bass a bit over the years. A couple of friends of mine uploaded a bunch of mixes here.. amazed to look now and find they're all nearly 10 years old now though! Cripes!! http://mixes.drum-and-bass.org Help yourselves :)
