hi i need a os drivers side driveshaft on my 1990 1.8 16v .will a golf un fit,1 on ebay ending soon :shrug:

most prob be doing it next sat now due to the dark nites

just done my top mounts,went to test drive it and it wouldnt move.took the os wheel off to find the shaft had pulled out the joint.took the boot off to find bits of metal in it and the joint will not go back on :eek: .so looks like ive got to buy a new shaft now,seen a company selling mk2 golf uns on ebay.will these fit a 1990 16v 1.8.this is going to be an expensive job.also what size allen key holds the box side of the shaft on.i can feel a stella attack coming on very soon :(

does your corrado feel safe at speed,mine is fine at low speeds but once it gets to 60 + its a bit scary.

ive never realy thought about petrol,might try sum in mine.its got asda in at the moment,normally go to a local esso tho

i am building up to changing my top mounts,asked a few people now how to change um.been told i dont need coil spring compressors unless i am changing the bearing aswell.as they come with the bearing i think i should change them tho.my car is lowered but not on coil overs

my battery kept going flat,turned out to be my alpine stereo because it had 2 perm lives going to it -
ive got a set of golf mk2 16v on mine,fitted ok

i fitted unipart blades but they are for a lupo gti,costs a lot to do it but well worth the money

didnt have a prob with my lupo wipers,fitted sraight on no bending or cutting

ive found getting a nice tool box and tools helps,also i get screws and nuts and bolts at the shows.they always come in handy
