there should also be a brass sleeve that slides onto the end of the bar that connects the actual handle to the top of the box. take the cover of the top and slide your lever left to right ( no pun intended ) and you'll see what i mean that would reduce a lot of play and costs pennies :D
-
yeah i personally would'nt touch it, one cos they never made a g60 storm and 2 suspect h/gasket either it is or itis'nt upto you but there are enough good ones not to bother with the bad ones :D

by 2008 i don't think i'll be driving a c, although this year alone i've had 2 corrado 16v and a crx v-tec, but by then i would like to be either driving a Aston AMV8 or a 911 but that is only if my plans for 2004 come off, but for now i'm very happy with my c vr6 she is great :D

well replaced both the ends now and took the car for a spin, it has solved most of the problem and improved the handling no end it has made the front end fell so much more planted and it feels so much more solid. there is a small noise when going over rough ground but theres nothing when on full lock and on normal roads so i'm happy with that :) and to top it off put my new grill on and went to the stealers to get a new badge at 15 quid and the the parts guy gave it to me for free which put an even bigger smile on my face, it's a good day today :D

jedi-knight, by the sounds of it you have the same head unit as me, could you tell me how it comes out when you do get it out cos i am in the same pos as you and can't figure out how it slides out. when i bought the car the guy was gonna take it out and he used a small screw driver but i was'nt watching and then decided i wanted it so he left it in. sorry i can't help but could you let me know if you have any luck :D
