no squeling, can this be adjusted it's on a mk2 16v, surely it would be constant tho cos it seems to stop after about a minuite ???

started to notice when i start the car in the mornings the power steering feels jerky kinda intermitant, but then it seems to clear and operate as normaly after about 1 min anyone have any ideas what this could be ??

cheers buddy, yeah it's the girlfriends camera!!! no idea how it works then it rained so just put up with it. it does look and handle a whole lot better tho :D just thinking about fitting a strut brace to it but not sure, but hay there's no rush.

well after sortin out small problems like new rear calipers, new exhaust, new radiator, new steering, original gear knob and some new wheels i've finally got her the way i want her and thought you guys might like to see....

toyos everytime for me, never had a problem in the wet either but mines only a 16v so would be lighter on the front end

can anyone tell me any info about these been told that they can give good performance if a second cam is fitted!! can anyone give some info want to get some more performance out of my mk2 kr 16v and this so far sounds like a good mod anyone know any more :?:

ok guys i reckon this is a question for kevhaywire, i am thinking of buying an omp front upper strut brace for my mk2 16v, can anyone answer my questions can i fit it myself will the camber tracking need doing what difference can i exspect is it worth it and finally what is involved in fitting it sorry for all the questions but never looked into these before!!!

cheers riley, the reason is that i had my grill of yesterday and i pulled the lense partially of with it !!!! rather annoying, it's not falling off as yet but give it time, might just go down the scrappy if thats the case cos i think my lights are preitty bright considering!!!! what about gsf do the do the e marked oe ones!!!!!

hey guys, think i might replace the headlights on my golf for some crystal clear ones, i have a single headlight grill with the dip and main beam in one, just wanna know if there are any issues with them i.e mot etc or can i just replace em and go !!! they'll be just as bright or brighter won't they !!!

hi guys, i've been offered a 50mm inlet manifold for my mk2 16v kr and would like to know what is involved with fitting it !!! is it a pay some one else to do it job etc!!! or can i bolt on and go!!! the throttle body has been removed as well so can i use my old one !!! if anyone can help me it would be much apprecited, cheers

it totally depends on a number of things, i've just changed my rad and coolant with g12 and it sits arond 94 - 100 depending on traffic and before it was 98 - 106 and i intend to change the oil with synta silver and i reckon it would run cooler again, but it all depends on what driving you do but i drive a mk2 16v hope that helps...

i can sympathize mate had me indicaters nicked out of my bmpers a few days ago, what annoys me more is i thought vw drivers were of a different breed but they obviuosly new what they were lookin at but hey what goes around comes around and all that!!!!!!

never again, took my mk2 to the stealers to have a three inch coolant pipe replaced as i could'nt get it anywhere else, "no problem sir 98 pound + vat, will take a couple of days to get the parts i give you a call" great did'nt need the car no problem went back 2 days later 300 quid wtf " yeah it took 4 hours and this and that" no sorry where was the phone call etc etc finally paid 200 but a far cry from 98, fu**ers basically never again!!!!

can anyone tell me what other manufacturers have the same fitment as vw's 4x100 i am goning to be selling my 17's soon and reckon i'll be asked what else these fit quite a lot so thought i'ed do my homework, anyone know :roll:

i must admit i thought that after i'ed calmed down a bit, problem is now i keep looking at the front of every mk2 on the island, just let it go, let it go i !!!!!! :D

my uncle has a 993 4s and that is only 285bhp 4wd and that is a real crack had a few goes in it now, but it does have the optional turbo susp, brakes etc but 650 and 2wd rock on would just love to have a go in that round the ring!!!!!
