i was given this when i bought my 3rd c, thought you guys might like to see it :D it is from "used car buyer" january 1999 under the heading uk's best used buy, "corrado the great drpreciation buster"

the guy who owned it before me made it, when i take it off later i'll have a look and see how he did it, i do know he made it from an existing grill that was on the car which i reckon was a standard grill sprayed to match the car without the three bars but it is a nice job does'nt look homemade at all make me an offer if want, but i'll let you know what it looks like when i swap them over :D

any chance these have to be done when the suspension was replaced cos that is a brand new 40mm spax set-up, chances are they have'nt knowing my luck but i had'nt thought of that cheers :D

stevemac, could you tell me what a cat bypass is i have one on my vr6 with a full magnex stainless but have no idea what is envolved :?

when i'm going you don't hear athing it's only when manouvering/pulling away from 1st to 2nd or on really uneven pot holey ground!!! it sounds like a sticky ball joint pooping round it's cup but as i said they are both fine thats just the best i can explain :!: :? also out of interest how much are new cv joints!!!!

just a thought but could it be engine mounts there is about 1/4 inch movement underload!!!!!

hey there phatvr6, i have just taken this grill of my vr don't know if you would be interested in that !!

took my car down to the local dealer to see if they could help with a very frustrating knocking noise at parking speeds in car parks and pulling away, they (too my surprise) took it in there and then and stuck it on a ramp he gave the whole car a good look over (suspension, wishones, drive shafts etc ) and said the only thing it could be was the connecting arm on the end of the anti-roll bar the rubber had perished badly :? after a good search with the parts man they came up with it £49 quid each, no thanks gsf £39 for the two thankyou very much and they the stealer did'nt charge me for there time :D anyway nipped down to gsf this morning and got them both and managed to change passenger side this morning drivers to be done on thursday not to much of a hassle and only a couple of bruises. i just hope it sorts the noise otherwise i have no idea!! it's got new wishbones, bushes etc but when on full lock or very uneven ground thers a deffinate knock noise like a stiff ball joint or somethin ( there ok as well !!) any one had this prob :D

i just rplaced mine about a week ago and noticed that the middleone is bright the other two are dim took it all apart and could'nt figure it out but in the name of perfection it's annoying me too. could it be the strength of the bulb i only put in a 1.2 watt i think :!:

cheers buddy i have literally just ordered a standard grill cos i'm not sure if i really like the grill thats on it so i am gonna try a standard one, we shall see which one stays :D

sorry mate that'll teach me for going out last night well i had a clio 16v and that was just the same within 2 months it had a new rad new altinater etc luckily under warrenty but i agree " the french" they are crap well if i see ya i'll say hi as i'm in salisbury too i've got a vr6 rather non standard but there are some pics on the gallery under fec's VR6 have a look when you get a chance and good luck with that clio. :D

don't be put off at all and if you have any doubts just use the aa or rac cos then you will have total peice of mind for i think around 150 quid but to be honest with full service and mot all thats left is to check the clutch is'nt really heavy cos thats quite a big job and just haver a listen for the timing chains once she is warmed up otherwise they are great and once you've driven it you shud know wether or not you like it :D

i based in salisbury too, to be honest buddy i think they may notice especially if they know what they are looking at which most corrado buyers generally do but good luck you gonna get another c or something else :?:

so buddy can't help you there other than newspaper but noticed your from salisbury which c is yours as i'm right next door.

you'll know if like it i did when i saw mine :D and i don't think you will have a problem with the way it drives :twisted:

i would just give it a good sanding down youself use a nice fine grade and just get them to spray over the top should'nt cost to much :D

could it just be a dirty temp sensor telling you it's over heating :!:
