Hmmmmm cheers, I'll get back to you if I don't manage to get the wheels I'm after.

They're not perfect hence the price, I think it's pretty reasonable though. Cheers Clumpy :)

As title BBS CH002's, these are 18x8.5 and 5x100 PCD, offset is ET30. Can't recall what the tyres are like so will check and update asap. Currently located at my mates in Sunderland, can be collected from there or from mine near Middlesbrough. Can also send by courier but will have to check prices. £650 ono

Sorry to hear that Wullie :( Hope the new owner looks after the old girl.

Not really, the plug on the fans is moulded into the casing of the motor. I was thinking about buying a conector but it would mean cutting the original off, not that I'm ever likely to want to fit standard fans again I suppose.

As you can see in the pics below, the 2 blacks go into the same spade, the blue go into one each and then are bridged into the 4th spade. I've not looked into which pin each one needs to go into yet but I assumed it was the same as Hasan has explained above.

There you go :)

I've got the pics, just uploading therm now :)

I bought a rad with slim line fans and one of these brackets off the forum, it was wired into the original fan connector too, I believe by D&G. I've not wired it up properly yet but I'm pretty sure it's just spade connectors that push into the original plug, I can check tonight if anyone is interested :)

Good on you for saving it!

Glad you got sorted mate, the airbag light will need clearing with VCDS. He should really have disconnected the battery before unplugging it, would have saved you the hassle of having to get it cleared.

Most likely the black rubber lines that go from the fuel rail to the hard plastic pipes. Could also be the problem with starting due to the fuel leaking out of the lines/rail whilst it's stood.

That made me chuckle!!

Ah good to see you found one mate, I remember seeing this on eBay, another guy, Carl on here was going to look at it a couple of weeks ago, not sure if he did or not in the end. Looks like a pretty fair price! The adapters are probably aluminium, people always over tighten them an knacker the threads, I only ever use steel adapters for that reason, yes they're a lot heavier but also a lot safer IMO Problems don't sound to bad and shouldn't be too hard to sort out, I'm sure once you've spent some more time driving it you'll come to find more though lol Well done :)

Not meaning to sound harsh but from the description I think you'd be lucky to get £500 for it. Sorry.

Yeah I never thought about them recording it, I'll ask about that if they're arsey about it!

Anyone had problems with these guys? Took a policy out with them on the 25th of last month, just got the documentation through this afternoon, god knows what took so long! Looking at the listed mods, half of the stuff i told them about isn't on there. The most notable being the engine conversion, only engine mod mentioned says "engine chip +26% inc BHP" I know in the past i've forgot the odd mod and had to ring to add them, but I know for sure I didn't forget to mention putting a 3.2 lump in! So now i'm going to have to ring them on Monday and probably be faced with some smug little twat telling me I need to pay an extra £3 million as they didn't quote for the conversion. No doubt massively complicated by the fact i paid a £120 deposit and the rest over 10 months. I feel like just ringing and cancelling the damn thing! AND What if I'd had an accident in the past 2 weeks!

When I renewed my insurance last year, I mentioned I had plans to turbo it and the guy said it wouldn't be a problem for them, that was brentacre. Worth a call!

Maybe alcohol inhibits my sarcasm detection

Make the centre bore a whole millimetre bigger and stick some spacers on? Not that hard really is it?
-
I disagree, imperial sockets are very useful, perfect for hammering onto corroded bolts/nuts

Email me some pics if you want and I'll post them for you :) [email protected]
