Not much to say other than WOW! Got to be one of the Best Corrado's ever! -
Awesome!
-
That one was out of my 93 VR, hope that helps :)
-
I've got a full set of lights and boot carpet in black, bottom piece and both sides. All in good condition. £60 inc postage to a uk address if you're interested.

Yeah AVS are usually pretty decent from what I've heard, had some parts off them before without any issues! In the past I've always just gone for the more expensive of the ECP ones. Never replaced them on the Rado yet but it's something I'm planning on doing soon, I was just going to get the Febi ones off eBay.
-
I'd say so yeah, they should last a lot longer than that, unless you're buying crap ones lol
-
One between the head and lower part and then another between the lower and upper parts, I can't remember if there is one between the manifold and throttle body or not?
-
Glad you got it sorted mate, well half way there anyway lol
-
I'm with brentacre at the moment, need to ring around myself for some quotes as mine expires next week! The D90's will need adapters mate, G60's are 4x100.

I'd always recommend new gaskets, it's just not worth the hassle of putting it all back together to find it's leaking and you need to do the job again.
-
Yeah the ratchet bit comes in handy, one handed operation if you use it with your thumb ;) The only problem I've ever had is when I released the big maf clip and it wouldn't quite open up enough to go back on, I had to squeeze the clamp with my hands whilst the wife put the tool back on, that was an experience lol

Awesome for brake clearance these, I had Porsche Boxster S front calipers and 330mm discs under a set of these without spacers. GLWS mate

Some pics here in the top mount thread http://www.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=41755 If its bottoming out it should be fairly noticeable, check the subframe and sump for marks. I've not done anything with the suspension on my car yet but in the past i've always cut the bumpstops down a bit as the standard ones have always seemed a bit long.

Welcome to the forum, i'm only over near middlesbrough! Definitely look into a VR before you make a final decision ;)

Oil cooler mounting (upside down, on its side)

Kinda like making a dipstick out of an EGT probe! Cheers Dox i'll have a look at them, I don't really want to take the sump off if i can avoid it Kev -
Looks like a nice example right there lol Shame your're having to sell buddy!
-
Yeah I didn't know if he wanted to just bolt a VR box on or use the VR internals, I was just trying to make him aware the 1st option wouldn't work, without offending him if he already knew that lol I wasn't sure if the rest of the internals were compatable to swap so didn't comment on that.
-
All I'll say is it's worth travelling to find a decent one. If you find one you like the look of that's miles away try putting a post up on here to see if someone more local to the car will take a look for you and advise if it's worth the trip.

Could be a few things, more likely to be related to suspension rather than a ball joint or similar IMO Is the damper leaking, Bump stops and Top mounts ok? Maybe a snapped spring?
-
No it replaces the crappy little clip that always breaks. I think they do a replacement for the trumpet too now though. I'm not sure if that's fitted correctly or not as I've never seen a pic of one fitted and there doesn't seem to be any on their website. If it works ok though I wouldn't worry.

Kev do you think if I drilled and tapped a sump bolt to fit the standard temp sensor it would give a more accurate reading than fitting it in a t piece with the pressure senders? -
For some reason web links aren't working on my phone so I can't see what the other guys are recommending but probably similar to my teng one, I had a cheap version years ago but it fell to bits, this one has been abused for 7+ years and still works! You can also get a remote one on a wire that's handy for hard to reach places but the one I've seen was limited to small-medium size clips.

Sorry if I've got the wrong idea of what you want to do but you can't use a VR6 box on a 4 cylinder engine anyway.
