oh another tip....c&r suggested i put ptfe tape on the nipple threads, theyre designed to be loose threads cus there was siezing probs..the loose threads let air in when bleeding

rallye engine is smaller capacity to meet the rallye specs of the day bigger head bolts on rallye and a few minor bit n bobs if your bolting in the whole lump, yeah it a straight swap

younglad....try gwerks or pitstop for charger work jabba were the only people that did chargers many years ago, mike used to do them himself, it seems they got more intrested in stuff like 20v and mikes brother in law does the chargers now...many of us on here including me have had problems due to cheap parts fitted or badly fitted parts, plus the poor customer service

id check the boost level your getting and make sure the throttle cable is ajusted to get wide open throttle

im trying to tune up a 16vk jet engine...i have the fuel pressure gauges and a wideband machine im not really sure what a/f ratio to aim for are there any websites that give newbie info on N/A tuning?

i had to bled mine alot to get a decent pedal, and i also changed to mk4 pads and they made it better due to the fact theyre wider

i popped a piston out on mine....right job to get back in, id suggest you buy the tool , it needs to to turn and push in..maybe crack the nipple open abs cage should be okay as long as you didnt bend it too much

sounds like he's being alkward...i recon they could shift ten or more on here easy..£5 off or free postage would do it trade must be good to turn down a £1000 of orders, plus people might buy the odd badge or gearknob as well come to think of it...cant someone thats got one get a quote for a batch of "similar" ones to made?? id be happy to get quotes localy if i could get measurements...they also fit mk2 golfs so clubgti and dubfrce would have a few -

hope this is the right section :cry: its car chat after all :roll: anyway , ive always wanted to visit wolfsburg and i have some sapre time at the moment, id kinda like to just go and play it by ear rather than have everything booked before i need all the advise i can get stanstead to where? whats a good price for a flight? whats the best way to get from airport to wolfsburg? will there be travel lodge type places i can stroll in and book there n then how long should i need there? anything else i need to now...not been to europe before and i dont speak any lingo :oops: itd be great if i can chat with someone on msn about it...id like to go fairly soon

the best way ive found to clean them , is to get a tub of petrol and dunk the isv in it while its buzzing, that way all the dirt vibrates out or carb cleaner sprayed in each end several times

just how much better than standard are these mk3 ones? mine has a new standard ones and a vibra front, but it feels a bit sloppy would a mk3 one offer much differance over a new std one
