-
henny ...yeah there there is a dot on the inside of the pulley, i just wasnt sure what it it needed to line up with?? it runs alright...ive already had it up the road
-
so for next time....do i use the inner pulley dot and the sharp edge on the rocker cover? thanks for the reply
-
okay if you look in the center of the pic..the cover has a sharp edge to it, this happens to line up with a dot on the inside of the pulley or should it line up with top of rocker, bottom of rocker or top of cyl head?
-
i pretty much refuse to park between 2 cars now...if i must park in a supermarket its right at the very end across 2 spaces i also check the car when i return to it..so that i can hoof their door in
-
but the gasket is pretty thick..im really not sure if its right or not
-
supercharged...i already have that pic cheers, its not clear is it? that line is the top of the rocker? top of the head or what
-
yeah usually its 2 tiny spots that clearly line up or not...this looks like you can be a tooth out and still look okay
-
just changed the cam belt on my g60...i put it back how the old one is, but i think the cam wheel marks are somewhat vague can anyone confirm where to line up with what
-
the belt can cofuse where its coming from try the cam belt tensioner, 2 pulleys that the belt runs on, alt bearing or water pump how many miles on the charger??
-
re ajust it
-
mytryres.co.uk list specific winter tyres , and theyre pretty cheap
-
no ..dont go spraying stuff in there, the oil feed is for bearings...the ptfe spray is for the strips(which should already be done)
-
if you crank the engine with the coil lead off that will fill her up..give it a couple of 30 sec blasts and away you go 2 DAYS??? i thought i was slow
-
i think any uprated bearing will stop that shaft being a problem area....still doesnt make the charger safe to rev hard though btw ive emailed kk about the seal thing...im intrested too, although he doesnt seem to get many complaints :D
-
these are from kk ...g werks use the rubber sealed ones in theirs , only time will tell how they last those strips...i think one version is harder than the other.
-
yeah carb cleaner is perfect
-
i feel the apex strips caused my lack of performance in jabba rebuild, theyd shrunk alot...like i said the charger made 16psi at redline , but now its boosting alot harder at lower revs which really makes the car fly :) my KK strips were a tan/yellow color and darren said they were oem ones like he uses.
-
here they are, the 2 in the middle of the pic...kk claimed theyre 23k ...please yourself if you believe him/me im sure theres many grades of bearing though..there must differant quality to what they use in wheel barrows compared to planes etc?
-
theres no way id want mine being driven espceialy in winter, if your mate gets the arches caked in salty mud and then leaves it :( i think id park it up clean n dry and just go or the the money you save from insurance/tax/mot etc you pay for proper car storage in a dehumidified place that insured etc
