  3. i took mine into a dealer once and asked them to read the code via the 2 pin plug,,,they hooked it up but it wouldnt talk to their machine
  4. id get it straight into a vw specilaist, you'l go bonkers before long h100vw know that guy from awesome...he's supposed to be very good, and nearer than g werks

  9. its just the earlier sns chips needed a 3.5 frp...id speak with you chip supplier and make sure you,ve got the right bits year ago jabba told me their chips were superchips or vice versa
  10. you know you messed around with ecu's and chips.....is the chip you have now suited to your spec? and you have the right fpr for the chip?? its just i ran my std pulley while running the charger in , and that was pretty pants
  11. have you checked all the power/batt/earth leads are tight n clean

  13. mine doesnt smell ...spose it may smell a touch rich when started if you stand near the tailpipe but its fine didnt nitice anymore power if thats what your thinking
  14. dont forget people...you can mail your charger to g werks , either have a freindly garage whip it off or you and your mates have a go, its fairly straight forward and theres plenty of peeps that will help on here...takes an hr or so to remove

  16. get the voltmeter on and pull all your wires...could be a duff earth or something hanging
  17. maybe i was ripped off, i just figured KK had a good rep , and id heard bad things about ebay.de kits i had no intentions building it up with budget parts

  21. low voltage makes em run shat!!! when /if it does it again ...pull and push on all the wiring connectors while its running...you may notice it cures it if you pull on a dodgy wire
  22. thing is goodridge, im sure darren and all the other builders have messed up quite a few chargers before they got the hang of it have a go if you think you can do it , its not super complicated in there, and theres a fair bit of info on the net where do you plan to buy your parts from?? all the outlets i contacted claimed theirs was the best quality !! i do have all the part numbers written down from the kit i got, if you want em you can prob get the bearings anywhere..although i dunno who sells pukka apex strips
  23. to check if its the crank pulley...cant you check that the timing marks line up on both the cam belt cover and flywheel
